Hi Steve: excellent advice. Can you comment on minimum speeds? Have an Eagle 1510 clone of the Juki. Mostly self oiling. My service guy told me not to run the machine under 1500 which is too fast for me. Is there a supplementary electric oil pump I could add?

My machine has a 1-10 dial 1-9 my motor is too weak to see through anything but when I set to 10 it’s ready to run off. This wasn’t always the case what could that be?

Hey question, my machine is stuck at a reverse stitch, its been hard to find a fix to this issue as I’m having trouble finding the manual for this machine. This is the only video ive found thats similar to my machine, do you have any idea how to reverse the opposite stitch?

So the little screw that you’re never supposed to touch? Yeah… mine fell off while I was sewing. Tried to fix it and now I need to replace the spring. Do you sell those? I have the Typical GC0605A that is identical to this machine.

Thank you for showing the trouble spots. I have been having shredding with high quality threads on my juki tl98q. I can see that the needle almost touches the side of the hole in the needle plate. This was a used machine that has worked beautifully until I began quilting a very heavy quilt sandwich. I felt myself pulling the quilt to move in circles (free motion quilting). I hope I can fix this and didn’t pull the whole needle assembly off center. Again thanks. Very enlightening.

Hello Steve, how do you move the hook from the shaft cause that is what is breaking my thread?

Thank you for the video it is helpful, however when switching to sewing on lighter materials you only mention the thread as being a tex40 I believe but you never mention needing to change the needle size for lighter fabrics or any adjusting the bobbin case for lighter thread, this would be super helpful

How do I do this on a1508? It's chewing up my vinyl when i top stitch?

This video gives me the confidence to remove the whole tension assembly. However your technician mentioned a screw that is not supposed to be moved when he began putting the new spring on. Leave it to me to previously remove that screw (located just above the large finger screw. Can you elaborate what I need to do since I completely removed? I did notice that before I touched the little black screw, it was barely tight.

I had problem with my bobbin winder for some time. I could not fixed it. I was going to call someone to fix it but it’s very expensive. Then I thought let me go to KZfaq.
