Awesome wood table just a tip, I would light the candle away from the table first especially if the table was just sprayed with a flammable chemical. Just because those 3 wick candles sometimes will pop the burnt wick out of the cylinder. For some reason bath and body works candles tend to pop the wick when reignited.

Fifty years from now your various kids will remember the awesome gift you gave to make their most personal hideaways so comfy. Love is shown in many ways but I speak from experience. When I was 7 and wanted a screaming purple room my Dad let me be a big girl and pick the paint. He showed me little things about painting that a 7 year old could understand. I got the room of my little girl dreams. Years later I asked why they let me have a purple room and he said, "Even though it made me sick to put that paint on the walls, I knew you were only going to be 7 once. And I loved doing that for you. You will always be my baby girl." He also said it took 4 coats of paint to cover it when the house was put up for sale. Your kids will remember the love, always. Good on you.

IMO I would stop buying until you used all that up. I rarely have more than 6 cleaning products at a time (MPC, glass, dish detergent, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent) and only occasional have extras like oxiclean and enzyme cleaners when necessary. Less clutter and we almost never have any spills from over crowding. It’s super freeing to have more empty space honestly

I'm GONA tell you how to get rid of that spot. Cut out all of the spot. Don't worry about the hole. Now, go into one of your closets. From the corners, Trim enough carpets fibers to fill the hole. Squirt SUPER CLUE, CRAZY GLUE all over in the hole. Then fill the hole with the fibers. Now put a heavy book on top of it until it dries. Let me know if you try it.
