The reason for Ferrari going from V8 twin turbo to. V12 naturally aspirated for F50 was not because they couldn’t get more horse power out of the V8 it was because the Ferrari decided to go with V12 when it comes down to their super cars that comes out every 10 years ( anniversary cars) since Ferrari had always used a V12 on their Race cars otherwise they could get a lot more horse power from the V8 twin turbo used in F40. The F40 LM version was a 800 horse power and also the F40 that was made for Mr. Enzo as his personal car was tuned to 650horse power.

The first car to do 200 MPH was the Ruf Yellow Bird. I actually drove a 288 GTO that belonged to Ron Tonkin; owner of Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in Portland OR. I was a Part’s Driver for Mr Tonkin way back in 1983, and it was just a few miles. I’ll never forget.

She was beyond surprised as it was completely unexpected. Her father, who passed away 4 years ago, was originally from Italy. He had been involved with the Formula one circuit as a team mechanic in the 60's and 70s. So cars and speed were automatically in my wives DNA. Throughout our 40 years of marriage, I have bought her many cars, jewelry, clothing, and so on throughout our marriage. She was beyond appreciative of each and every gift over the years. At the end of the day, it's all just stuff. What she has given me is priceless! Our 40 years together, 7 children and 5 grandchildren all our money couldn't buy. When we first met, we had no understanding what was ahead of this long journey that has flew by so fast! I am the most blessed man alive!!!!😊
