Yeah nice video, but can anyone tell me what a "D-clamp is?" Those big honkin' metal things are called 3/4" Bow or Anchor Shackles! Anchor shackle - Bow shackles and anchor shackles are terms that are often used interchangeably, as both names refer to a shackle with a larger, rounded “O” shape look. However, a bow shackle typically has a larger, more defined bow area than an anchor shackle. The rounded design of anchor shackles and bow shackles allow them to take loads from many directions without developing significant side load. This is what we use for winching! Chain shackle - Chain shackles are also known as D-shackles. Both refer to the “D” shape design. A d-shackle is narrower than a bow or anchor shackle and generally have a threaded pin or pin close. The smaller loop is designed to take high loads primarily in line. Side and racking loads may twist or bend a D or chain shackle. Nope, not a 'D-clamp either! Also, each shackle is stamped or embossed on the side of it, with its Safe Working Load Limit. If you come across one that does not have this information on it, Do Not Use Use It! It most likely is substandard or a knockoff and has not certification it have been tested. Please take the time to learn the equipment before you get in front of a camera and make yourself look foolish.

You could go in to detail and show what you are doing and what you are wiring to. I can go to pep boys to watch a fat guy work on a car and a kid try to sell me something.

I installed this kit on a 15' wrangler, so awesome, you have to follow the instructions, but everything fell in perfectly, no mods to any new hardware! I have been a tech for 25 years and this kit blew me away!! I'll install anything from Edelbrock!!!

I ask this guy through facebook and they told me that they think they got it from AntennaX, but I already look on their webpage and I don't see any like it. Although they told me that is the rubber one, my guess is that they bended it maybe applying some heat.

Will this snorkel kit hook up to any cold air intake upgrade? Does it just hook up to just stock, or can it run with rugged ridge's CAI , K&N, Volant, Air raid cold air intakes?

I have read a couple issues regarding incorrectly pre-cut hoses and the pre-made wiring harness didn't match 100%. Did you have this issue, or has it been corrected since the release of this kit? Thanks in advance!
@nsf1bytheaamgroup417 жыл бұрын
Hi Rob, thanks for the comment! We did not have any issues with the pre-made wiring harness or pre-cut hoses. It is a tight fit, so I can see where people might have said that, but the kit we had installed with no huss or fuss.
