i have a 1990 fourtrax 300 4x4...will not move when i put it in gear (i bought it like that)...installed new shifter clutch, centrifugal and one-way bearing.....quadrupled checked my work......still nothing....runs fine.....i can shift through all gears when running including reverse.......but will not move......i don't mind splitting the engine.....but what should i look for when i do??...thnaks

What are you running for clutch weights? Primary spring? Secondary spring? I have a 2013 with 30” sludgehammers, epi 66gram weights and white primary spring, purple secondary, and it wont wheelie or spin the tires. Its like its in tractor low gear.

Everybody's got their own preference but that thing sounds wretched it sounds horrible but mbrp makes a pretty good slip-on Muffler I've got one on my 05 Sportsman 800 and I love the way it sounds I did the same thing you did with the factory exhaust and then I ended up throwing them away they are complete junk no matter what you do to him unless you completely got the inside of them out and create your own baffle but going to the single mbrp silencer you remove about 8 to 10 lb of weight which also helps it also comes with a screen spark arrestor that you can remove to get more airflow if needed but I love the sound of the mbrp silencer

So I’ve taken my motor apart to rebuild and when I put the cases together an the put the clutch on the motor won’t turn over freely

The part of the video just before you remove the basket nut, can't see it. Is that an ear you were prying open to be able to turn the nut

I have a 21 sportsman 1000xp highlifter...I didn't need wheel spacers when I did my 2" lift...also the cv axel are the down fall not the pinion bearing

So not a motor rebuild, but a top end rebuild...

If you ride in places like this a lot and aren't into the fast atv/utv your better off buying an Argo or something similar that floats and keeps you dry. One fouled sparkplug or ignition short or the engine dying is disastrous the water backes up in the exhaust and into the cylinder seeping by the rings into the case .

Brand new! Amazing. I can't imagine if we could have these prices in Europe for machines like that!

On my 250ex would mine being backwards cause it to jerk and stall when going into gear almost like riding a bike with a clutch but it’s not soposed to need a clutch lol

Great video man! I just bought a 09 x2 and the left rear axleshaft spins in the transmission like the splines are broke. I might do the conversion like you talked about.

Can you explain the wires coming from the solenoid to your DPDT switch? Did you need to run 3 new wires from the solenoid to the switch?

Some advice for you from someone who had this issue: The drier like you currently have needs to be at least 25' from your air compressor for the air in the line to cool where a dryer/filter will have condensation to work! This 25' run will ensure the heat is taken away from the air and helps to produce the moisture you want to take out of the airline. Some people run transmission coolers and the like which also helps to reduce the heat.

Or fix the problem correctly because time is money. That is not fixing it correctly that is kicking the can down the road.

I had the larger stand up version one and had even MORE mods than you had (all included with the dust collector and vacuum underneath) and I swear to hell I could NOT get that damn thing to be consistent with nearly the identical mechanical interface by drawing from the bottom like you did. I had a metering valve, etc. but I digress, I believe showing that you can have consistent suck and blow with those Eastwood components is a game changer. They must have some secret venturi effect that I just could'nt reproduce. It totally pissed me off and even at 90 PSI, I couldn't get the media to flow properly no matter WHAT values I adjusted. To boot, I had TWO dryers on my line too! Wonder if I should've started with the Eastwood diffuser and gun...

Can you help me, If i tighten both axle bolts the shaft does not turn freely, only tighten one side, break side or diff? the bearing will not last if I tighten both inner nuts , thx

Those machines are a shit ton of fun but there's just something about spending $20k+ on a toy that's gonna get the living snot beat out of it
