We need to check the series of b_n in that case. If the series of b_n is convergent, then so is the series of a_n. We need to try a different method/test if the series of b_n is divergent. (The limit comparison test fails if the series of b_n is divergent.)

I think you can compare 1/n^n with 1/n^2 n^n > n^2 So 1/n^n < 1/n^2. As a series, sum of 1/n^2 is convergent - p-series with p=2. The same holds for the sum of 1/n^n using comparison.

We have 4/(1/2). In division of rationals, you flip the den and multiply it by the num. So, 4/(1/2) = 4(2/1)=8. I hope this makes sense.
