By his logic, no team can improve in a season? 😂 & let's be clear here, he definitely doesnt watch Chelsea games & bases his opinions based on what other people. Chelsea have an amazing record this year against the teams that finished in the top 5. Even the games they lost againat the top 5 was usually by 1 goal minus the Arsenal game. Chelsea are among the top 3 for most metrics in terms of pressing into their opponents 3rd of the pitch. Does that mean the defenders & midfielders that got Chelsea into said final 3rd of pitch are trash or that they jist dont have a proper finisher. Baring in mind Chelsea only finished 5 points behind Villa, if they had a proper number 9 like Watkins, Haaland or Kane, they would of finished at least in the top 4 & probably a title contender. I'm not insinuating they would of won the league but when you have games that finished draws or lost by the odd goal, said out & out striker would likely of turned many if those games into 3 points. As any proper fan could tell you, the 3 strikers I mentioned (& could list numerous more) have bailed out their respective teams on countless occasions. Then you find the whole team are going to be more inspired & more belief going into any game or when trailing that they could win. Truely a moronic viewpoint 😅
