Thank you! I have a DC pattern that I didn't think I could turn into a triangle shawl... you proved me wrong lol. When I complete my project (once I get my yarn), I'll be sure to tag you and the other creator for my inspiration. It's going to be SO lovely.💕

If I wanted to make this significantly longer would I be able to, if so, how would I go about doing that
@nanascraftyhome
@nanascraftyhome 7 күн бұрын
Absolutely you could make this shawl as long you would like! Simply add on the number of chains to make it the length you wish and then simply work double crochet stitches in every chain you added. Work the top portion the same - you will just be adding on to the double crochet portion of the shawl. I hope that helps! 💕🌸

Hello Tanya bush. I am looking for the pattern it was in the work basket magazine. I was a tan Indiana shawl made with beads and fringe. I think it was done in double crochet. If you could help me with this pattern I would be very grateful. Thank you sue.

Hiya Thanks for the tute 😍 Will this join have a stretch to it? as I really like it but I’m joining squares for some clothing so need to have a stretchy join .thank you xx
@nanascraftyhome
@nanascraftyhome 11 күн бұрын
So glad you like it! I would say this join isn't very stretchy. For a stretchy join I would recommend a lace mesh join which I show in the video here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o9Nkiql3uM3efHU.html. For a less open appearance I would recommend using this method with a single crochet stitch. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching 💕🌸

I’m looking for a lapghan size American flag. Would this mini C2C done in dc be like the size of lapghan?
@nanascraftyhome
@nanascraftyhome 13 күн бұрын
I think that even going up to double crochet stitches with a worsted weight yarn would be a lot smaller than you are looking for. I would recommending working up a gauge swatch in a super bulky blanket yarn + dc c2c to see where you might end up size wise. I hope that helps! 💕🌸

@nanascraftyhome So I now have your pattern downloaded. Do you also have a video tutorial for it? I have watched your video on how to make the interlocking arched columns. Is that actually what you do for the entire potholder? I'm not real good at reading patterns yet so I'm really hoping you have a video tutorial. 🤞🙏

Super glad this tutorial was on here. I've been crocheting since I was 7 and I'm now almost 45. My nan and mum taught me how to crochet together. This was one of the things I did first. One was a granny square and the other was a granny rectangle because, you know, you have to learn both haha. I actually forgot how to start the granny rectangle and this was a great help. Thanks heaps. All I needed to remember was the beginning.

Great video. You explained every very succinctly, helped me have success. PS, the colour of pink you used for the tutorial is quite pretty. Some are too bright, or pale, or too mixed with a purple or red, but this shade is perfect.

Hi, I know this is an old video but I am making this pattern currently. I am wondering if there is an issue with just joining the ends at row 72 and then working the moss / linen stitch in the round? Maybe I missed you saying it I will admit that I was using the pattern and then came here to see how you joined the ends together and how you went about the moss stitch in the round.
@nanascraftyhome
@nanascraftyhome 29 күн бұрын
Yes, absolutely you could choose to begin working in the round in row 72 as long as you keep the stitch pattern! A great idea! 💕🌸
