FR , you explained it soo well , like they literally put all the OP busted items in the 1st area that can potentially carry you through the whole DLC and made me break up with my beloved skeletons ( *sob sob * ). For the bosses they did such a great job which IMO is way more forgiving than main game bosses like Godskin duo , fire giant , morgott BS . also i feel the dodge windows are a lot like lies of p wind ups so may be ppl are pissed on them too that's why ahhaha. Frame drops and some camera angle abuses are a lil annoying other than that this DLC is soo awesome . DLC world design is KREYGASM . Also LMFAO you said " many dragons ? " i haven't ran into a single one LOL and I'm at the final area . Gotta hunt some dragons FR . XD great video !

When I was 8 years old, my mom took me shopping with her to Walmart and told me to pick out some games in the used games bin (this was in the 90s when the SNES was popular). I saw a cartridge of this game in a white cardboard cartridge holder and shrinkwrapped. I picked it up because the artwork on the cartridge sticker looked really cool. It didn’t come with a manual or anything, and I hadn’t even heard of Castlevania at the time, so I was going in blind. When I got home and played it for the first time, it blew my mind. I felt like I found a treasure that day.

I remember back in the early 90s when my friend got this game, I had to come over and play it. Still think it's the best CV game ever made.

Good grief, this is possibly the HARDEST play of this game to watch for me. "I've played other Castlevania games" Demo comes on: "WTF?! Why can't I control it? WTF?!!" Ignores demo and it displaying moves you need to know... "How do I start??" Start game clearly on screen. Pick up a whip power-up: "WTF?!!" Enemy shows up: "WTF?! What do I do with this?" (Hint: HIT IT WITH YOUR WHIP.) Whip an enemy with basic leather whip: WTF?!! Why does it take more hits this time?!" Meat shows up: "WTF?! What does that do?!" (Played other CV games? Really?) Boss LITERALLY has a life bar right under yours...and you're surprised it came back after you killed it's horse. "What do the hearts do?" (Again, you played other CV games?) "This game is BRUTAL!" (STILL ON FIRST LEVEL. ARE YOU SURE YOU PLAYED OTHER CV GAMES??) Swing loop to swing with your whip: "WTF does the game want me to do??" (Game literally SHOWED YOU in the demo that you ignored. Good job.) "WTF?! What did I die from?" YOU FELL OFF THE SCREEN. Keep getting hit by dragon fireballs: again, you skipped the demo or you'd know you can just stand still with the whip hanging down and let the dragon run into it to kill itself, not to mention the whip protects from fireballs. Fall off swing hoop: "The whip mechanic is a--!" Yet you don't bother to figure them out AT ALL because you can lengthen or shorten the whip and make it swing higher... In summary: WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! WTF?! The game isn't brutal. You are impatient and immature.

Dude it's PAINFUL the resolution you chose to play it in. It's completely wrong, next time you do retro it will be 4:3 on old systems.

There are so many good titles in Castlevania. Even some obscure ones like Castlevania Harmony of Despair.

hiya, ever heard of otogi-myth of demons or otogi-immortal warriors? these were my first fromsoft games that i played back in the early 2000's. they were exclusive to the OG XBOX. i've heard many people talk about the kingsfield series which is much older, but i dont hear too many people talking about the two otogi games. they are stupid fresh

Sword Saint Isshin, IMO, is meant for you to pretty much put together virtually everything you've been taught about combat. Dodging ranged attacks, dodging unblockables, countering his lance attack, countering and redirecting elemental attacks... It's such a well-designed fight and absolutely worthy of being one of FromSoft's best.

Darklurker is an S tier boss with an absolutely horrid runback but Ancient Dragon is absolutely awful and it's not wroth fighting however since your this deep into the series you might aswel...
