I used to be terrified of turbulence when I was young, as a child. One flight however, on the way home to the uk, where turbulence can be horrible sometimes, the turbulence was really unpleasant and intense. The whole cabin was deathly silent. Until a bunch of guys in their 20s started treating it like a roller coaster and then the rest of the cabin joined in with the woos and laughter and fun. They distracted people from worrying, kids from crying and even the parents from freaking out as my parents who were regular fliers were also scared. I will always remember those guys. Everytime I am in a plane and there's a turbulence, I remember them and treat it like a roller coaster. Those guys were legends. I hope I meet them again in another way. They helped me be less scared of flying when I was young. They helped keep the cabin calm also.

This engine type and model is supposed to have 200 gallons of foam ready to be mixed, I see they used some but must've ran out. Another engine or a foam unit is needed. Knowing LAFD responses, this fire shouldn't have gotten this out of control so fast.

This in all honesty is not too severe. I was in a flight recently from Korea to USA and we flew out during a storm over Korea and Japan that extended far east and it was 1 hour of pure turbulence and drops, the captain said the turbulence would be “more than moderate” and he was right. Some of the large drops I felt like I was levitating over my seat for a second like on a rollercoaster drop.

Been to EAA @ OSH a bunch of years and it never disappoints! Man, there isn't ANYTHING more bone chilling than a Mustang dive howl... 9:05... If you've never heard this sound in real life, you have no idea of what I mean. All these super/ultra fighters with f@f, 20 mile radar, countermeasures systems, blah blah blah. You in a bunker or on a line of trees, you don't know or feel anything. Something like an AGM fired and you're here one second, then gone in a puff. That CAN'T compare to back then when there's a black dot coming out of the sun screaming bloody hell, sending you and everything around you into the paper shredder. You KNOW it's the end before its even started in a very excruciating obliteration.

Good they have water! Our fire dept sent a truck with no water to pump. Nearly burned there house in addition. To the motor home the acreage next door n homes n businesses. AND THE FIRE DEPT less than 3 miles didn’t arrive for over 45 MINS Later. And the fire dept out of the area was called out from a nother town ; arrived 25 mins late w/ the empty fire truck, 49 mins later a water tank truck arrived.! Meanwhile. Every was crispy burnt tires melted frame ruined nothing left inside motorhome . No engine . Rubber hoses everything shower commode bedding all gone closets refrig counter sink , couches captain chairs tv. Burnt . Nothing but a mess
