Thanks for sharing the story. A few years back, I had the same thing happen to me @ Laguna in my 2006 NC. The motor blew up in the first session going up the hill just like your situation. Coasted down the hill into the pits almost getting hit by a GT3. It sucked. Mine was a loose coolant hose and burned up fast. Rebuild better!

Seat covers look terrible in my opinion. Very visibly just strapped over the stock seat, flopping around, draping over the edges, not held in place well at all. Wish they’d make a set that actually goes over the entire seat (including the back) to make it look OEM. Having cloth seats with these cheap leather covers looks worse than just having cloth seats.

So you putted Pilot 25 and Main 100? Cause I’ve putted Pilot 40 and Main 110 it’s running way better I have lil bog on the 3rd gear, what do you suggest me? I still have the original Intake (20mm) with a Nibbi Carb 24mm, tomorrow I’ll replace the Intake, so do you think that I need to set the nedle too or change again jets?

That's the exact one and color I had in 86. I was in middle school. I asked for a dirt bike and got this scooter instead. The only thing is that mine didn't have a kick start. This was one up from the honda Spree and a step down from the Elite. Memories.

The oil gas mixture may be messed up

Be careful doing that things at 4:40 don't put the head too close i almost lose a eye the wrench hit 1cm under the eye doing that with the shock bolts. But beyond that always nice taking care of our cars 👍

Any pointers on aligning the rear tire after install?

My 2012 had the 2013 radio.... i bought it with 35k miles in 2014. Totaled it. Getting anither in the morning. Same color. Same specs. That was my first car a decade ago.

Crutchfield is fantastic. Knowledgeable customer service people and great products. I wired a Bluetooth adapter into the factory Bose head unit, too (in my 2000 Audi TT). It worked flawlessly. :)
