This vehicle is a diesel 6-speed manual. I don't know the fuel consumption per 100km, but I have confirmed that it will run 12km on 1 liter of fuel, even though it is heavily equipped. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLaGppWXyZzOY5c.html&ab_channel=HeadwayDrive

Any problems with arms, planetaries, connecting rods after doing this? (Because people say 5cm is max lift for the way this car is built)
@HeadwayDrive5 күн бұрын
Indeed, it is said that the maximum lift for this vehicle is about 30 to 40 mm. In fact, a 4-inch block has been added to make it this high. You can see what the 4-inch block looks like in the video below. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rapinNmrkr7XkqM.html&ab_channel=HeadwayDrive

@@motiveminute01 The front has a strut structure and the rear has a multi-link structure. With this type of vehicle, the tires often float when the body tilts. Therefore, even if you replace the springs, the limit of how much the tires can extend downward cannot be changed much. The video below talks about 4-inch blocks. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nsCFes1hxrLZYac.html&ab_channel=HeadwayDrive

I did this 2-3 years ago, but I did not take the alternator apart.. Just used an impact gun(cheap makita knock off from ali) to get the pulley and used a screw driver thru the vent holes to stop the fan. Was very careful and thigthened the pulley.
@HeadwayDrive16 күн бұрын
I thought about trying that method, but I don't have an impact gun, so I chose to disassemble it. If the center shaft had a hexagonal fixing hole, I wouldn't have to disassemble it. You're amazing.

Hi mate, having the same problem. Refitting my door handle as it fell off, and the wire has unattached from the lock barrel. As far as I can tell the lock is still functioning properly without the wire attached, do you know what it actually does and if. I need to remove the doorcards to put it back?

そのまま回し続けると、ドライブシャフトが空回りしてしまい、締めたり緩めたりできません。回転を止める為にキャリパーの隙間からローターにドライバーを差し込んでいます。 If you turn it like that, the drive shaft will spin around, so you won't be able to tighten or loosen it. To stop it from turning, insert a screwdriver into the rotor through the gap in the caliper.
Without dropdown table and the ladder, if you push the Hitch gate solo more close to the backdoor still there is a gap to push more?
@HeadwayDriveАй бұрын
Since the hitch member position is fixed, the hitch gate solo cannot be moved any closer to the gate side. Possible by shortening the insertion part of the hitch gate solo
Greetings bro. Was wondering if your tail gate/cargo door ever make a lot of rattling noises & did you sound deaden it as well? Was anything in particular making noise? Thanks!
@HeadwayDriveАй бұрын
I have never heard such a vibration sound, but it may be caused by movement of the internal wiring. Try driving with the rear hatch inner panel removed. In addition, the seats in the rear seats may also make noise due to vibrations.
@image91Ай бұрын
@@HeadwayDrive Thanks for the reply as always bro. I removed the inner panel & realized that the lower panel attached to the exterior of the rear hatch has some plastic clips running along the bottom. Four to the base & two to the sides. They have become worn after years & have a slight play, causing some of the rattling. I changed them & putting some foam behind the license plate. Seemed to help a bit. About to do some sound deadening soon. Saw you had a video on it as well. Good stuff.

@@image91 It seems like there has been some progress in reducing noise, but it doesn't seem to be perfect. There's no need to rush, just check it out little by little.
