There are two parts of Super Mario 3D All-Stars that makes it unforgivable in my opinion. First is the artificial scarcity, this game should still be sold on the e-shop and the game should be buyable without needing to deal with a scalper on eBay. Second is the price tag. This game should have 30 dollars tops, but it had double that price. These are just ports/emulation of games that are over a decade old. If you look at the Crash or Spyro remakes, those collections were 40 dollar for remakes from the ground up. Even the MGS Master Collection is better having manuals, graphics novels, the soundtracks, and you can even emulate the Psycho Mantis fight reading your PS1 memory card and swapping your controller port.

I get the dismay about Phoenix in the first Apollo Justice game, keep in mind that he wasn't supposed to be in it in the first place. As Capcom wanted Phoenix to be in the game in some shape or form, while Takumi wanted to be separated from Phoenix entirely and make a new story with new characters. So, we ended up with Hobo Phoenix (which did sour the ending from the original trilogy) but ended up being a good mentor for Apollo and I wished they kept it that way for the whole Apollo trilogy.

I was wondering why you were doing the mental gymnastics with the Apollo Justice game and then you said it was your fav, which makes sense now. I like that game too lol
@TheStorytellerAJАй бұрын
It's probably the best one so far but something the DGS one has over it is the translated optional DLCs and TGS trailer stuff translated. They dropped asinine attorney for Apollo's trilogy. Something the Investigations trilogy has over both though is the ability to use the OG sprites! They all have some great things for sure.
@RehncohroАй бұрын
I did mention the lack of the asinine attorney cases for both collections in the video. Chronicles is missing the DLC cases from DGS2, but aside from the missing cases, Chronicles has some odd exclusions (lack of cutscene gallery, no gallery for in-game artwork and only includes development art and key visuals, and missing tracks in music player with some being locked behind an early purchase). Thankfully, Apollo has most of this stuff in his collection.

Step one: Investigate room, ID, computer, and dresser to see just how much of reality has notably changed, if anything. Further steps would be determined based on the outcome of this, as the amount of reality shifting would determine how I would be reacting in further instances.

Come to think about it. This is an excellent roleplaying game opening. One could respond with "well it seems a lot is different now. Your room isn't painted a different color but decorated for your new gender, you even have memories to match how it is now though dwelling on the fact you have two sets of memories for the same time is making your head spin a little."

if we're going by the internal mind gender definition of "girl", that dream might not be so far off y'know... and sex can be changed too. Not perfectly, but it's still very worth it!
@AbrasiousProductions2 ай бұрын
@@ilonachan I never wanna transition though, I've never had the desire for surgery and I'm not trans, I just have a female soul, I'm perfectly fine living in a male body, besides identifying as the opposite gender despite your physical gender is not something I agree with, I don't really support transgenderism, I'm fine with other consenting adults being trans, I wouldn't wanna force anyone NOT to be trans, I just disagree with the lifestyle, so even if I'm a woman on the inside, I'd never demand anyone to call me a woman outside because I'm not.
@ilonachan2 ай бұрын
@@AbrasiousProductions you're perfectly fine living in a male body? ...I mean if you're sure about that, good for you! Honestly tho, that doesn't sound very convincing. Your original comment was you wish you could wake up as a girl, so it's at the very least something you think you'd like, right? If that's not worth the difficulties for you then sure, I just feel like it probably would be. Also what do you mean you "have a female soul", but don't "agree with identifying as the opposite gender"? Isn't that literally wht you're doing, identifying to the outside that you perceive your internal soul to be female? Isn't that all transness is? Transitioning isn't a condition for being trans, it's just something trans people usually tend to do as a result, because it just makes a lot of sense.
@AbrasiousProductions2 ай бұрын
@@ilonachan yeah but I'd be a pretty ineffective transphobe if I considered myself trans, I'm not trans. it's a hard and complex thing to explain and I'm not sure your understanding me, I know me, I know who I am, just because I wish I was a girl and think about it a lot doesn't mean I EVER wanna get risky surgeries or identify as a woman when I'm not one.
@ilonachan2 ай бұрын
@@AbrasiousProductions okay, there's just a few things that I'd like to ask about if you don't mind. I don't wanna be presumptuous, it's just what's making me think rn. That first line about "being an ineffective transphobe" is weird, why would that be a bad thing? Are you invested in being transphobic for some external reason? I recommend thinking about that, because that seems VERY NOT GOOD FOR YOU. The other thing is about the surgeries: you don't have to worry about that at all. first, you're not required to get them, plenty of trans ppl don't or don't even want to! They're also not particularly risky, and regret rates are literally lower than literal life-preserving surgeries. Still, if you don't feel like you want that, nobody is forcing you (unless your government IS forcing trans ppl to do that, which is immoral). In the realm of medicine, far less invasive methods exist too. Surely you know about hormones, right? They do a lot! And are even considered mostly reversible! But again, if you don't want to, that's your decision. The main disconnect that I don't think I can overcome here is the "identify as a woman when you're not one" thing. Because in my view, who's to say you're NOT a woman? You did say your mind is female, what if that's good enough? Does your body HAVE to matter? Does what your surroundings, your family, your birth certificate say, HAVE to matter? The way I see it, you've got a very clear idea about who you are inside, and that's awesome! And wouldn't it feel great if there were people around you who also knew who you are inside? And treated you the way you'd like to be treated? If you didn't just have to put up with being a guy, but had someone around you who treated you like you're a girl inside? If you don't think anyone around you would be that accepting, I'd be sorry to hear that, it does happen... but you're not gonna tell me that the idea doesn't sound at least a little bit nice, right?

If you woke up as the opposite gender, technically, that also means your biology would be rewired as well. So while you may still consider yourself to be you, how you think, react, feel, along with how many other chemical reactions effect your behavior, may change who you are despite being fundamentally you. It would be a ship of Theseus situation. That being said if I one day woke up as a woman I would go mad with power.
@ilonachan2 ай бұрын
that actually is really strange to think about. Even tho in practice gender differences aren't really so great that having your sex switched would make you a whole different person... that does completely depend on the magic used, doesn't it. And if the thing that makes you "mentally a girl" is actually still a part of the physiology of your brain (and crucially, if the method you use flips that as well), then you'd go from being extremely put off by the thought of being a guy and being drawn to the idea of being a girl, to LITERALLY the opposite. Anyone would find such a drastic change in themselves disturbing. (which is coincidentally also why the idea of conversion therapy seems so outlandish, uncredible, and immoral to many people)

@@rain_7D6 “egg” is a term used in the trans community to denote “someone who is trans but doesn’t think they are” (aka, someone who isn’t trans). people who use this term unironically are either degenerates that have a fetish for “cracking the egg” (turning someone trans, which isn’t a thing that can happen according to the trans community because they don’t want to admit how much of their community has AGP (a fetish for feminising oneself)… because AGP has been used to validate transphobic rhetoric by insinuating that being trans is itself a fetish, which is just plainly incorrect as I’m sure you know) or are just ignorant of how objectively bad using the term is. There’s a reason why in any respectable trans community, the saying goes “don’t crack the egg”, thanks to degenerates who groom and manipulate non-trans people into thinking they’re trans (which is the leading cause of AGP and detrans).
