I think it is unethical TO do it. Non life threatening.

As someone who’s been in the psych ward over 20 times in my live, American psych wards look horrific omg. If I wasn’t suicidal going in, I’d definitely be coming out! I’ve seen people getting paper clothes, no phones. Idk if our psych wards are worse or better but the ones I went do didn’t have anything like that. I’d only seen psych wards American style in movies so I was super surprised they didn’t take my shoelaces etc, they checked my luggage for blades, alcohol & dr*gs but that’s it. I had my own clothes, comfort items, phone/laptop, tobacco & lighter & my own room with a door that can lock (only staff can enter) 3 communal meals a day & during Covid meals in your room. And that was the highest level of closed psych wards. Now I’m not saying everything was perfect or it’s like that at every facility, I’ve only been to two different ones. But clearly it’s always worse somewhere else !

Have had more than one 911 FD/EMS runs like that. Came from all demographics. Used to think it was just my luck...getting these 'rare' runs...until tfg brought them our from under their stones.

Tea tree oil! Get a brush and run it through your hair; contrary to popular belief lice love clean hair, so oil that scalp up. My mother's coworker had a child come home with lice, and had me comb through her hair when she got home because of the scare.

alcohol wipes are NOT the best solution or a good solution. Although it is very fast it can cause LOTS of problems like, headaches , drowsiness, staggering, unconsciousness, death, irritation of the nose or mucous membranes, and throat irritation. But don't be so worried as this only happens with large doses of it, i recommend like a few sniffs or inhales not overly excessive inhales

Everytime I was sick or got a UTI/yeast infection my dad thought I was pregnant or had an STD 🙄. One time I got a stomach bug and was throwing up at 3 am. While I was throwing up he stood by the door and said "oh christ, this better not be morning sickness!". As if thats the only logical reason women could throw up? Also, how degrading is it to know your father thinks you just sleep around all the time 🙄🙄🙄🙄

In Canada, you will receive assistance on taking your life. In many Euro countries with “free” healthcare, you’ll wait 6 months in line before you can receive life saving surgery, even though your salary has been reduced for years to cover everyone else’s expensive ass healthcare. So many privileged and ignorant Americans on this platform. Either you’re just ill informed or you have no experience with medical care

That was the most ridiculous thing ever and didn’t last long. Not everyone had to get it. I was an “essential” employee and so was my husband and we did NOT get the shot. Nor will we I did not care and still do not care who gets the shot or who doesn’t but do not force that on me. Again worked through the whole pandemic and was never forced to get the shot nor was I threatened with my job over it. The schools tried to make my children get it also (which was BS since they were home sitting behind a computer screen and also after they went back hybrid) until my husband found legal documents, signed them and we had them notarized.

I really admire how you have made your channel develop and grow. I too worked in the ER for nearly 20 years, trained as an EMT but worked in huge 1000 bed teaching hospital. Lots of stories. I like Hao you call out all the different types of ED RNs, hilarious. You need to do a Phillipina traveler!

I was sectioned by the police and my cmht so was taken up to the hospital and had to wait in this weird padded room with a police officer. I thought they were just in films 😂 The toilet had nothing in it but the bowl which the water drained away from after flushing and a cardboard bowl with tissues in. The "padded" room just had a mattress on the floor that i sat on and they brought in chairs when the three doctors came in to assess me. Strangest place ever. Luckily they let me go probably because i actually wanted to stay once i calmed down. I did get my diagnosis that day though

Ohhh I felt terrible for my husband that he had to be in the chair for resting. I wanted him rested so he could better support me, and unfortunately he became unsupportive because the lack of rest, food and water. I was high on adrenaline, but he was not. :( please comfortable chairs for the husbands!

My first nurse job 27 years ago, almost 28 years ago, had nurse manager, charge nurse, 2 treatment nurses, 3 floor nurses, 5 floor cna's, and 2 bath aides, and 1 unit aide on just our hall of nursing home about 23 rooms or about 46 patients. That was around 1997. When I quit 9 years later, only had 2 nurses who did the previous work of manager, charge, floor, and treatment nurses, and 4 floor cna's, no unit or bath aides but still had to do them. But still had the 46 patients. But about twice the amount of paperwork required. Thank God I'm retired

I had big veins when I was young ! Went to have blood work done and the nurse tried to hit the vein it would roll or move over , after about 4 tries she gave up and went to get someone ! I really felt bad for her ! When they got back the nurse talked to her a bit and ask me if I want her to do it ! I told her no let the first girl give it another try , I gotta another arm ! So she did it on the first try ! She was really happy about it !
