Going into your sever settings and remove the thing making where you can’t place objects that get the wall, if you do that you will be able to place your ramp on the floor and be able to place the forge closer

I feel like for something like this tradersneverclose mod would be so good especially with short days you can do some quests during night and still get rewards during the night but I guess it could ruin the (insane) part of it

Regarding the low damage to blocks, i agree with you! Realistically speaking i dont see how a zombie of flesh and blood still, has the ability to rip through concrete let alone steel! Their limbs would be destroyed and they would not put a scratch on concrete, bricks, and of course steel! So yeah low damage is a go!

I think TFP just applied way too much cheese to the zombies making them do high block damage. I get it, they are trying to deal with insane bases, but it prevents making these sorts of on the fly bases. Anyways it seems like your having fun with the settings they way they are so I'd say keep them. :) As to blade I do enjoy it, just not sure how well or how long it will serve you on insane level. Since you learned grilled meat, and you do have the grill why not cook it up. One day you will get a pot, or maybe get lucky with a water purifier. Would it be too much cheese to get lucky looter? Would have you pulling out some really nice items with relatively no work required. Maybe just a few ranks instead of max? Just some thoughts.

The trick to farming is after tier 2 living off the land, makes you harvest enough to craft replacement seeds and have leftover produce. It is a pain true, and its power is really shining on multiplayer because having a dedicated farmer saves time for the whole group
