Il y a le billet aller-retour regulier à 36 CHF/Euro, mais pour les travailleurs le moyen le plus avantageux reste l'abonnement général annuel pour le prix de 3800 CHF avec lequel vous voyagez librement sur les lignes des transports publics de Suisse (trains, bus, trams, bateaux, etc). Ca revient à 316 CHF par mois, ou 10 CHF par jour ..... et vous voyagez partout, pas seulement entre Evian et Lausanne. Il y a rien de mieux que cela. Bonne chance !

You guys were lucky! Normally, planes coming-in from the East land directly at Trudeau with a short approach over the city. In this case, you had to go all the way around the city! That's probably because the wind was from the East that day, which is pretty rare actually, the dominant winds being from the West. Vous avez eu de la chance ! Normalement, les avions en provenance de l'est atterrissent directement à Trudeau avec une courte approche au-dessus de la ville. Dans ce cas, il vous a fallu faire tout le tour de la ville ! C'est probablement parce que le vent était de l'est ce jour-là, ce qui est assez rare en fait, les vents dominants étant de l'ouest.

You're right. We were lucky. At YUL the wind is blowing from the east 9% of the time only
