Often times I start with a reference to get proportions right and then just wing it from there!

I mainly use watercolor, pencil crayon, pen and acrylic paint. Most of my pieces are a combination of those mediums :)

I was young and stupid! Hahahaha. Now I know how important it is to save it and see the progress made :)

I use acrylic for the thicker paint. I mainly use liquitex basics, but I also have some heavy body liquitex paint that works for even more thickness!

I have never tried the posca pens! They look like they would work really well! The Copic Too White Out is more like a gouache than an acrylic paint pen. I find it useful for adding white highlights and stuff! My personal favourite is the Liquitex White Gouache, which is in a squeeze bottle form so you would have to use a paint brush to apply it. It’s my favourite for adding highlights.

Unfortunately there’s not much you can do besides painting over it. I would recommend penciling your design first and doing some practice attempts on scrap fabric or paper.

Yep! I just reuse cardstock or cardboard! I like seeing the layers of paint build up over time. It becomes a work of art of its own :) and thank you so much 😊
