This is a trek 820/850 model I believe. From the early 2000s, I can’t remember the exact year. For the price you paid I think thats ok. These bikes were mid range mtb for the time. Once you get into the 900/950 models the.ln that’s a more pricey bike.

@DavidGonzalez-mb9ys Thank you! I definitely would not see someone paying more for it. I probably paid to much lol

Just to be clear...thats not a 69...looks like a 70 through 72 front bumper tail lights could tell better..

@stuartsullenbarger2023 it's a 69 all day. Original title and vin. Some of the parts on it are not original. I really wish it were a 72.

Keep doing what you are doing. Alot of people like the raw videos. Great job on the swap. Looks really good. You done a great job on the valve covers, breather and oil breather. Be proud of your work buddy. Thanks, Novacamp

@tonywest8140 Man it means a lot to know someone watched my silly video. I really tried. When one does a video and doesn't cut it, I found myself repeating so many words.

Good video. If you got longer plug wires, more than likely they go behind the heads and under the headers. My buddy has them like that and it really cleans up the wires. Try them like that. Thanks for the video, Novacamp

Do you have the part # for the parts that worked? I'm having a similar issue on my 2014 2.5L
@creep-was-here8 ай бұрын
No I'm sorry I don't have part number. These sit at the top of the motor and are extremely easy to change.

@@creep-was-here any other issues with your car? I think I found the proper solenoids to swap out.
@creep-was-here8 ай бұрын
My car runs perfect after changing these. They would never bring up a code. Make sure to change the intake and the exhaust vvt valves. Very easy to do and cheap.

Hey man . How is your air filter. Should change everytimr you change oil. Have the same car . That's what I do . And prob should change spark plugs . Just My opinion . When electrical things get hot they fuck up. I would say spark plugs . Watched another video same car . Guy took plugs out burnt. They take alot of abuse a big car with only 4 plugs .

Thanks for the info. Car is running great after I replaced the variable valve solenoids. Everything eles you mentioned was good info, although they are all new.

I got the air intake hoes off but having a hard time getting that middle part detached. Feels like I’m gonna break it off

This only fixed the problem for a week or so. Had to replace the intake and exhaust VVT silonoids. Seems to be fine again so far! Still didn't bring any codes up when acting up.
