I salute you for tackling this. Specific accents are difficult to do convincingly. True locals from any of these locations will call you out in a second, if their ears pick up the slightest deviation. Some British actors who can nail an American accent, confess that they really have to apply themselves, and that it's not natural for them at all !

Hi, I understand you easily. However, I don’t have nobody to talk to. If anyone is in the same situation, I’m here to practice

1. “English is everywhere” This is just like saying that getting a degree is easy because a ton of people have one. It’s just not true. 2. So, what are you gonna do? Stay in your own country and never experience anything new just because you might get slightly irritated at someone who doesn’t speak your language? (not like anyone would want you less than one mile away from them) 3. English is just as useful as learning any other language. If you want to speak to the most people, maybe try learning Indian or Chinese, as those two countries combined have over 2 billion people living inside of them. Plus, English has extremely awkward grammatical rules which most people would have a difficult time understanding. Among the approximately 7,000 languages in the world, English is one of, if not the hardest language to learn, and none of what you said here changes anything about that fact. :)

Hi Dear Gabby. For all the english learners this is a common mistake. I usually confuse the pronunciation of Receipt, Recipe, Recite and another words that the pronunciation is similar. Honestly, You inspire me, among other things, to learn English in a better way. Have a Great Weekend Miss Gabby.

The store clerk must be from another country. no Americans would mispronounce "receipt" anywhere in the country. however, a lot of Americans are mispronouncing words like "veterinarian" and "respiratory". Just listen carefully when they use these words and you see what I mean.

English is though, is laberintic. Because first it doesn't sound as is written, THEN words change sound if they're linked, emphasized, if are at the beginning, at the end, in the middle, if start with a vowel or a consonant and the previous or next word alters the flow😥😥😥😥😥😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 and the list goes on and on. Then you have to learn a bunch of vocabulary in the real world, then phrasal verbs, 😖😖😖😖😖, this list goes to the roof, then you have idioms... So, beautiful lady🤩🤩🤩, it's good that persons like you have a great dose of patience 🙂🙂🙂
