Thanks for watching! Can't believe we made this over 7 years ago. Coming full-circle and applying what I've learned in both DIY and game publishing, I now work for a company that specialises in small batch board game production called Launch Tabletop.

What was the contact adhesive? Kwik Grip? Selleys?
@Ruleandmake3 жыл бұрын
We've used both. Kwik Grip is a little more forgiving when you mess up the initial contact but consequently is also not as grippy. Selleys has a very strong bond but once they two surfaces touch, there is no going back.

I'm not much a deck-building game player so I had some troubles with this video. 6:26 When Barantas starts his turn, he still has the hack on his weapon. Isn't he meant to spend a strive point to keep it there in the Fatigue stage? 9:30 Ashleigh uses a token shard to allow her to buy a green card on a location which does not allow purchasing green cards. I didn't see anything in the rulebook saying you could use shards before killing the Jack. How does this work?
@rngcake3 жыл бұрын
This playthrough was from an old development build of the game. This video was meant to be a showcase for the Kickstarter campaign backers to demonstrate the progress of the design. “Fatigue” was not in the game at this stage. If in doubt always refer to the rulebook in your retail copy of the game.

@@rngcake Thanks, Allen! I realise that the answer to my second question is in a expansion pack, too. So I guess that means that, in the current edition, it no longer applies.

@7:00 you played a hack on your weapon, since you're in combat, are you sure that is viable to play? also, you added an apple to your combat stack, which I'm fairly sure is not correct.

Ladies and Gents, Dear Designers I've just bought this game and I love it to death ... I've managed to find answers almost to all of my questions by reading the posts here, BUT I'm still having question marks concerning two topics: 1.) Whenever a Royalty will be participating in a *campaign scenario* (that is when you saw for ex. a Queen in the card list for the given level), do we follow the basic competitive rules to reveal them?! I mean Jack is revealed only when its card found, Queen/King is revealed right from the very beginning of the scenario to apply their effect(s) as it is designed?! I think the answer is YES, but I'd really need a confirmation here... 2.) I saw many feedback and responses around the scenario (level) reset as well, what is still confusing to me. Do we deal a fresh Dealer Row at the start of a new scenario or this is happening only in competitive mode?! YES ... I know the rules are there in the guide around "Continuity" and this is not mentioned as such, but I believe this should be case, that is, we should have this option "enabled" to refresh the 'marketplace', the Dealer's Row itself.

Allen Chang Thank you very much Allen! I do appreciate your quick answer - please allow me one final, follow-up question here (although I’ll post this on Boardgamegeek as well for Michael perhaps) - 3.) Can we "farm" a scenario to use its Encounter cards completely ?! That is, regardless we completed all the objectives of the given scenario, can we move on and farm the rest or we have to stop immediately once the scenario objective/task is done ?!

How do you make custom game-pieces for a prototype though? I am currently trying to flesh out my own idea for a board game and I am using chess pieces for my prototype, I want to 3d print my pieces but I feel that might be overkill. Any recommendations?
@rngcake5 жыл бұрын
Making your own custom game pieces is really too much work. You want to consider getting off-the-shelf pieces. The Game Crafter (thegamecrafter.com/) is a good start. Otherwise, many game designers go to their local art/craft store and buy wooden and plastic pieces (something like Spotlight if you're in Australia). We typically do not produce production-ready game pieces until we are ready for public playtesting or are about to publish the game and are pitching it to players and/or distributors.

i dont understand, How many action cards does each player get? in the rules book its says: "a set of action cards" but they dont say what is the set
@rngcake5 жыл бұрын
Each player receives an identical set of 6 Action cards, numbered 1 through 6. For 2 player games, omit the number 6 action card.
