The proximity mine is straighter with more glide and little bit more shallow. It doesn’t feel like you have to throw it, it just wants to go

Brook we have the exact same color TD and now same exact color and even exact same weight trail 170 g lol. I think we have similar arm speed 350-400 feet of power? I was debating bagging both but to me the trail is like a beat in and more controllable wraith and TD is like a longer fd. I mostly bag discmania and TD. Literally as you end your video you said a beat in star wraith….lmao ugh now I will say I have never bagged an essence but I thought they would be much more flippy than a TD?

An essence is great and new it has about the same stability as the TD but the one I bag is meta plastic so it’s not ultra flippy

I'm in awe of the snap and speed you can put into the disc. Pure power! I have the opposite issue, in that my slower discs always go nose up, and my distance and fairway discs have good (0° to -3°) nose angle. I bought a GameProofer, and a buddy has a Tech Disc, so I can see what the angle actually is. Maybe reach out to your local club to see if anyone has either they would let you throw. I'm not a coach, and I have only been playing for about 4 years, so take this with a grain of salt. I saw that your thumb looks like it's close to your index finger, IE, close to the edge of the rim. I moved my thumb out onto the flight plate a bit, close to where the wing ends, (like where the undercut for the flight plate starts), and it allows me to press down a bit with the thumb. I noticed better nose angles when I started doing this. I don't have nearly the power you do, so I can only hope to get distance when the nose angle is down a bit. This is great content, I'm certainly going to follow Form Fridays from kow on.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it. My thumb pushes where my pointer finger grips the underside of the rim. I throw my putters and mids nose up and my fairway/control drivers nose down it’s just the large rims I can’t quite get a good grip on.

If I could get them a little cheaper I think I would but the only ones locally are super light or special editions so heavier on the wallet. If I get a chance I’ll definitely toss them.

@brookarnold97 Yeah, I was able to get one of the Eagle McMahon Dimensions in the Fission at 166g and it was like $34 CAD, but it was nice and understable and I was able to get it to hyzer flip and still turn a bit with a strong fade at the end. Damn near perfect for an old fart like me.
