I once got a stuck tie rod off by pouring Dr. Pepper on it. Maybe i just got lucky, but thats also all i had on me on the side of the road that day. Would have been summer of 1997.

Can you do spacers with this set up with a 0 offset for a little more wheel poke without having to do trimming?

I am a heavy diesel mechanic. I use both oxy acetylene torch, or 1800 watt induction heater. Depending on what i am working on. Times wires or air lines are very close. Times its wide open. I use both regularly. Torch is a millions times faster when working on 1/2 and 5/8 bolts.

It's balanced, but its not perfectly balanced as you state. You did a static balance, which is okayyy if that's the ONLY option you have, but you could easily dynamicly balance that wheel, which is far better.

Lol those shocks are probably like a 1.2 for both sides. Idk what your flate rate pay is but that one job isn't gonna pay for the 600 bucks. Maybe another 5 or 10 sets of those will

Oxy/acetylene is cordless though. Ive had a miniductor for 12 years. Ive used it about 10 times. I’ll use the torch before i use the miniductor. “Eating up the labor times” most of the time it takes longer to wrap the wire around stuff than it does to roll the torch over light it and for the part to be red hot. The. You have to move the coil away from the material to be able to remove/loosen it. By the time you need a miniductor its better just to replace the parts with new stuff.

A tool that isn't terribly difficult to make- and on the cheap. Search youtube for 'induction heater' to find plenty of howto tutorials.

120 seconds? My acetylene torch will melt that completely in about 20 seconds, maybe 10 seconds worth of heat to unseize a rusted nut.

Induction are great BUT this specific tool is so large and cumbersome, how on earth is that going to get into tight spaces on cars? Just point your MAP gas torch in the smallest of gaps and fire.

I don’t tend to deal with that much rust down here in Florida but people who live right on the water with the sea water constantly spraying their cars… this will be considered. But I’ll go with harbor freight 600 bones is a lot for what it is. But for what it can do, it has Merit
