I miss the old Flagship looks. They were more classical and cool. The new cartoon pirate aesthetic looks goofy.

I've seen (and am considering trying) a company called Detroit Barber Co. They have some seemingly interesting offerings. Clays, pastes, creams, etc.

Hmm it's definitely a looser holding product, so I'd suggest going for something a bit stronger and waxier. Aurora pomade from Lodestar is very nice and just as easy to use as this stuff!

okay off topic, but you need to try American crew prep and prime tonic. I have very similar hair type to you and this stuff easily straightened out my waves even with medium heat. My hair style lasted all day and even next day looked great. It claims to be "gently moisturizing" which id agree it didnt feel dry in my hair not so much smooth. I used a touch of hair serum for a little bit more smoothing, but this stuff was so good I really think you should try it lol.

Hello! For medium length wavy frizz prone hair, what would you recommend to style like Tom Holland if you had to choose between Morrocon oil texturizing clay, kevin murphy rough rider, kevin murphy night rider, aveda grooming clay and hanz de fuko clamatation? Also, ideas on pre styler/ post styler would be swell. I like texture and separation. Thanks a ton!
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle Ай бұрын
Honestly I think the Moroccanoil and Kevin Murphy stuff are all too dry for that type of style, if you have wavy/coarse/frizz prone hair like me. I was not a big fan of Aveda but it could probably get the job done. Claymation is alright but if I'd really recommend something more like Fuertes clay or texture paste for the style you're after. Hope this helps!

I have wavy to slighty curly hair. My hair tends to get frizzy. I wanna be able to style it like Jeremy Allen White in TV show 'the bear' or the lead actor in tv show 'You'. I have tried stuff like Kevin Murphy easy rider along with loreal tecni art gel-cream designed for frizzy hair but i am still struggling to style my hair. What other products i can use or changes in routine I can make to style hair somewhat like Jeremy Allen White in The Bear. My hair does not clump that well and lack texture even after using loreal tecni art cream-gel as pre-styler and easy rider my kevin murphy as the styler. Any tips or product recomendation? :)
@TDMStyle
@TDMStyle Ай бұрын
I'd suggest trying a pre-styling combo of some kind of smoothing product (Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion is incredible stuff) plus a texture product like a sea salt spray - that will help to reduce frizz while also giving your hair some volume/body and help to create that coarser texture that he has. Then, you can post style with a styling cream like Easy Rider to get that final separation. Hope this helps!
@gyatridevi7741
@gyatridevi7741 Ай бұрын
@@TDMStyle thanks for replying. Do you have any experience with curl creams or styling curl gels? Do you think that's also a good direction to explore to achieve Jeremy's look in the video? Once I have applied presuming products, should I wait for my hair to completely dry before I use easy rider?

They cut the contents from 8oz to 3.4oz while keeping the price the same... is the refined formula better enough than the old one to make the new version worth getting? That's a lot of product to deduct from the old version. Hoping Flagship isn't just doing this as an easy way to churn more profit. Going from 8 to 7 or 6 ounces is understandable, but 3.4? It has to be more concentrated, right?

I mean yeah, I only have to use like a dime-sized amount and that's plenty. So it's not like I'm burning through the bottle at all. I've been using it almost on the daily and haven't gone through much at all.
