You are going to LOVE the colored pencil. I have 4 of them lol. I am also a collector of pen cases. I am just about prepared for any and all pen carrying situations! 🤣 My new favorite pen crush is the Metal barrel Jetstream 4+1 multi-pen & pencil. That and the colored pencil have become my bare minimum especially since I can use the colored pencils as highlighters.

I'm mostly a soft-cover planner kinda gal, but for the past year-plus I've been using an A5 six-ring planner/binder just for work purposes only. Towards the end of last year I started squeezing info for both work AND home stuff since it's a horizontal weekly, but after accepting a promotion I was like nope, this MUST be a work-only planner going forward! I actually think my boss and her boss (my boss-boss, I guess?) were impressed that I'd brought a physical planner with me to my Interview, especially since I was taking notes and had questioned prepared for them as well. It's been SO helpful having a separate planner! I hope this setup keeps working for you.

Is there a reason you use the hobonichi weeks? As opposed to another planner with a vertical format? No hate! But you seem to alter a lot in this one, so why not a planner better aligned with your needs?

Life in mitten do you still have that Pilot metropolitan gel pen? Because I’ve recently bought a couple of them due to Being Inspired by you, and I’ve found out that in order to use either Pentel Energel or Uniball Signo refills in the Pilot metropolitan gel pen, you actually have to take a spring out of another gel pen and put it onto the refill that you want to use in the Pilot metropolitan gel pen.

I looooove a cut down stalogy. I just recently cut down an A5 to b6 slim…. Yeah cut it too short 🙄🙄 next one I do will be the B6 and actually have a weeks size!

I’m so torn what to use! I’ve been in a planner funk for months lol. I love the hobo weeks, but like you I prefer vertical, and miss bujo life in my A6 stalogy! I love the cousin but it’s just so much more space than I need! I’ve considered A6 hobo with the added weekly supplement. Columns are pretty skinny but you get vertical weekly, months, and dailies. It works out like a A6 cousin. Though I often don’t even need that much space for each day.. that’s the bonus of weeks or bujo.. I’m so torn! lol

I love the saraza pens. Especially with the clip blocking cause I keep it in my pocket and I don’t have to worry about accidentally “out”. It changed my life. Love all these pens tho.

I LOVE the watercolor pages! So happy and fun! Great idea. I do the exact same thing with my tabs (except in my case, I usually accidentally write over/on them). Drives me nuts! I recently took a marker and outlined the edge of the clear/sticky part of the tab, and I’m loving how it’s working. I used pens that matched the tab color, but you could also just do black or grey if the color bothers you. Just thought I’d share in case you might want to try it.

Pilots and Pentels are the main pens i use…

I have been considering using a weeks in a similar manner but worry about the bulk & writing July to December. Is it bothersome? I have extra from years prior & this could be a perfect way to use them.

Awww - Sorry to hear about Emmitt :o( Cody is pushing 16 and we have noticed some decline. I will probably need a week of bereavement. I am all has to be printed. I hate writing things in. Using a Weeks this year and enjoying it. With not much going on in life now, it seems to be working. Love the moons and PS I always stay for the Be Kind!

I know exactly what you are going through. My Jack Russell is 12. He is diabetic and as if that was not enough he is now blind. My first Jack was 13 when I lost him. I know what is coming and it is killing me. My thoughts are with you.
