History of #644 When Amtrak traded in their SDP40Fs for light engine shortages, ATSF renumbered them, and modified them, in 1995, ATSF merged into BN to make BNSF. In 2001, BNSF retired their units and sent them for scrap. In 2002, BNSF 6976 was sold to NREX and was repainted, but it was bought by DMLX, and was used on Portland and Western. It was renumbered to 644. There is more to it.

Very very rarely! Like, I don't there's a single video of that crossing on the internet rarely! There's actually only one video of a PNW on that spur line crossing SW Allen Boulevard and it's from like 2005 and there hasn't been a train there since.
