Have to admit, I prefer Robin of Sherwood that was shown back in 1983-1986. I thought the stories were alot better, more atmospheric imagery and the music was perfect. But thats my taste...and if the new generation likes this new version...then thats great. Having said that...you might like to check out the 80's version too.

I don't think it was just because he 'smells ' . Like she said, he was also trouble ,so were all the other outlaws. Look what happened to her brother . At that time she wanted nothing to do with Robin and his gang . And knowing that one of Robin's men cared about her would make that difficult . I think she just said that he was dirty and he smelled to discourage him. Poor Much , spending his life as a devoted servant and friend the only time he found someone to care about , she refused him.

The Sheriff doesn't learn, does he? When you get one of Robin's men, or Robin, you kill them there and then. If you insist on the elaborate procedure, they'll get away. Seriously, Robin is very lucky that his nemesis is cartoonishly stupid sometimes.

Never thought about how truly important it was for the bible to be translated into the language of the people. That would have been an exciting time!
