So how long did the kit last? Does it make enough mushrooms to be worth the money or is it cheaper to just buy some at the store?

I use it every year to kill the June bug grubs . Mostly to keep the skunks from digging for the grubs in the yard . No more skunk digging , in my yard ,so it apparently works good . The neighbors don't use it and their lawn is dug up and some their dog tangles with the skunks.

Looks good. I ordered the portobello mushroom kit. It has a lot of tiny mushrooms but one giant mushroom so far. I wonder if this is normal or did I do something wrong?
@Ohsnapski2 жыл бұрын
This method generally does not work with great success rates for this kind of mushroom let alone the type of wood he used (oak is preferred). For anyone wondering I would assume that this did not work for him. They prefer to grow just barely through the ground if they are not naturally growing on a dead stump or tree. If you search “successful cultivation of chicken of the woods” her method works fantastically. Bit more work but with great success
@Glad2BGolden2 жыл бұрын
No one has had success doing it this way. Even on inoculated oak wood logs. Some things are meant to be left in nature.

Love your enclosure. The only thing I’d say is get smaller mesh/screening online for your cages. Parasitic wasp can fit through regular window screening and infect your eggs and chrysalis. I learned the hard way.

QUESTIONS: Have you had success? How long did it actually take for them to get going? Do you know of any other quicker methods using bags?

The whole video is a lie it's a conspiracy he just wants to make the white egg chickens feel better about their bodies... It's a fact, confident chickens lay tastier eggs. 🐔

Everyone’s asking regularly about your mushrooms from 5 years ago. Any chance you could either make a follow up video or reply to some comments and let people know?

Your on a " crude thick stemmed" site..pre Adena..mostly 4 mile chert. Keep an eye out for axes and bannerstones and undrilled slate weights that look kinda like gorgets. Hueston woods was the place they first excavated this type professionals also found butterfly banners there....under the marina

Killer hunt, you found some really nice stuff. Sounds like the girls really enjoy going out with you. That was the stack of all stacks, I've had that happen before so I understand what that knapper was dealing with. That perfect point was awesome, really pretty material. Thanks for sharing the hunt, I enjoyed this video!

Yeah that is an awesome place. The field we have been hunting may be half acre. There’s a lot of ground there but has standing corn in it

Checking put your kit results to compare. Started mine under very cold conditions with no heat source for mushies...cluster crops in the boxes, not all over...but let them grow into HUGE WHOPPERS ( big toadstool size) so plenty o' eating! 😁😋

@jmwnycprr3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yes it has only rained 3 tenths since August. We were surprised the field was plowed. The farmer said a couple old guys with some old equipment wanted to play with their plows. Im glad they did. That was only a half acre field that had sweet corn in it. There are a couple hundred acres there with crops still standing.

Long time no see... Wish I could go camping. I do that and fishing most of the summer usually but all our forests are closed now because of fires in California. I don't know why it is that when liberals go crazy we must all suffer....

Just tell everyone that it didn't work! Your avoiding the common question. Who cares that you tried and failed. You posted a video of your experiment...and that's what it is all about. Keep doing what you do! Let the information flow. Trial and error is how most people learn. Your doing a great job.
