I’ve been working on other content for a bit, but once I finish that video, I’ll do three more streams of trying to beat it, and if I can’t beat him, then I’ll actually just stop cuz it’s basically humanly impossible the way I see it. I’ll make the video plus my best attempt from there

Well when I first played hollow knight, it took around 10 hours for half the bosses, but then my file got deleted. When I got a file with every boss on radiant, it was around 11-13 hours, with absrad taking 3 hours, Markoth taking 2, and Oblobbles taking one. Pure vessel and a few other might’ve taken me a while but it was prob around 20 minutes each.

Damn that's really cool. When I first tried to beat a boss on radiant it took me a very long time. Idk why but i started with nkg and it took me like 2 days to beat him on normal mode and then 3 more days to beat him hitless. It feels kind of strange to be able to beat nkg without getting hit but still struggling with bosses like hornet 2 or lost kin. I'm trying to beat all of the pantheons but i'm stuck on pantheon 3 because I can't get past collector or godtamer. Do you have any tips for pantheon 3? (Thanks for the heart and the reply btw :))

I'm struggling with grey prince Zote. I know that i could skip him if i left him in greenpath, but I'm slowly working towads the 112% and I don't want to start all over again on a new save file. Hornet 2 is difficult, but I think that i just have to practise her fight more. I'm not struggling with Uumuu, but rather with the jellyfish and coordinating them around. I haven't fought Sly yet, but I think that he'll be difficult because ouf his long nail. I would be really happy if you made a video about those bosses, but I can understand if its to time consuming and i think writing a text would be faster, so i'll leave this up to you. :) Thank you so much again for answering, it means a lot to me, having an actual pro-gamer giving tips to me. Quick Slash, Shaman Stone, Soul Eater, Steady Body 6. Custom (whatever you happen to be comfortable with, I can work with about every charm)

For mask binding, he’ll just have one less health, and this does make the challenge harder considering the fact that it’s impossible to do this hitless despite what you say. Since absrad and traitor lord have unavoidable attacks, a hitless can’t be done. Mask binding does make this harder though for every hard boss that I mentioned, and especially traitor lord and absrad cuz you have to damage tank which could be dangerous with less health Charm binding doesn’t have any affect on the run Soul binding does have an effect on the run, not because of spells, but because of healing. Healing is actually really important to the run with little health so to have less soul to heal with is extremely difficult to work with

When did sharp shadow help?

That’s the ascended version. Attuned is always the version you fight them in the Overworld and ascended changes it a bit. Mawlek normally has the center stage that’s slightly elevated on attuned but not on ascended

I’ve always just found it easier to jump over them than dash, but that’s just me

I’ve become more comfortable with second phase, but I won’t be surprised if this takes like 7 more hours of attempts since it’s been 11 so far

@@yeetthechild428 assuming you have everything in the game by now, the charms I recommend are quick slash, strength, shaman stone, and steady body and nailmasters glory. However, if you don’t like steady body and nailmasters glory, you could try spell twister, and if you don’t like spells, then you can replace spell twister and shaman stone with mark of pride and something like fragile/unbreakable heart. Now here are the tips for each boss that I have . 1. Xero always floats in one direction at a time, meaning that if you vengeful spirit in the same direction as him, he’ll get hit multiple times, which is huge damage, or you could try to abyss shriek if you could find an opening. As for nail hits, swing your nail against the way he’s moving so he keeps trying to finish his path into that direction. You’ll keep getting hits until you eventually have to move or want to fireball. 2. Personally, I never have trouble with crystal guardian, but if you have trouble with soul master next round. The I recommend you harvest a bunch of soul from crystal guardian and save it for the next boss. 3. At the beginning of soul master, after he does his battle cry, you can spam abyss shriek and potentially get him staggered since he is range at the beginning. His teleporting may be annoying, but something to keep note of is that he always teleports to the opposite side of the field compared to where you are so you can try to chase him out by tricking his ai. As for the smashing phase, just hit when you’re comfortable. His health goes down pretty fast so you shouldn’t worry about trying to get in crazy damage and one cycle if you aren’t comfortable with it. 4. Oblobbles are kinda an annoying fight so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a boss you struggled with a little bit. I don’t really have a big strategy that makes them easy af, but I can simplify it for you the best I could. Fireballs do a lot of damage to them since they have big hitboxes and move backwards, allowing for multi hits. I recommend you try to take one on at a time since when one dies, the other heals anyway. Steady body is good here since you can hit them backwards multiple times with quickslash too. When there’s one left, dash slashing and shade soul is good on the last one, and when they attack, don’t try to attack back since there are just too many projectiles. 5. Mantis lords is a pretty easy fight once you understand patterns. I feel like one mantis is easy to handle, so I’ll explain two. For openings in attacks, you’ll want to use nail hits and abyss shrieks. Whenever they strike from above, sidestep it and hit them from the side. If they do the attack where they come from the sides, do a jump and approach from behind for more nail hits. When they’re on the walls, they’re very vulnerable to upwards attacks, making abyss shriek spam good. If you struggle with any attacks, then you could also just try them in attuned a bunch of times for practice since that never hurt either! 6. Marmu is annoying and doesn’t have many strategies. For her, this would be where mark of pride is actually decent along with shaman stone. Try to attack her mainly from the side and make sure she doesn’t bump into any walls. Since she always targets you, hitting to to get rid of her accelerating speed is good, and shade soul also helps attack from a range. 7. Nosk is pretty simple. Since his arena has corners in the middle he can’t access, Take advantage of those and stay under to hit him when he passes by. If you ever want spell damage, try going into the center and desolate dive where he screams and shoots infection goop. If he’s in the ceiling, try to abyss shriek him since he’s still hurtable like that and shade dash if the projectiles come to close. 8. Flukemarm is pretty easy, so I don’t have much to say. Just make sure to kill the flukes if they get in the way. 9. Broken Vessel might seem hard, but he’s actually extremely slow and easy. For his dash attacks, attack a few times and shade cloak through him if you need to. For the jump attack, just sidestep it and hit him from the side, like mantis lords. Since he takes knockback, steady body is once again phenomenal for this fight since he’s easy to stagger and will constantly be held against the wall like that. Since he takes a lot of knockback too, shade soul is also very powerful here. As for his bullet hell attack, it’d actually very simple! You just want to pogo on him and spam desolate dive, but kind of in a pattern. The bullets he shoots that protect himself in the middle actually have a pattern of left, right, left, right, meaning that you can avoid every one with good movement, and desolate when comfortable and repeat until he dives. 10. Paintmaster Sheo is the finale, and believe it or not, he actually has the easiest movement to follow. You know how he always either rolls back or jumps? Well, the way that works is that if he’s ever even mildly close to the center, he always rolls backwards, no matter what. When he jumps though, he only does it once he’s practically completely pinned to the wall and can’t roll back anymore, causing him to go over you. However, it’s not all that simple. If you aren’t close to sheo at all times when he’s not against a wall, then he actually jumps backwards, which sorta complicates the pattern and takes a while to get back into place. The only way to guarantee a rollback is by staying decently close. The reason why these jumps and rollbacks are so important though is because when he rolls backwards, you can shade soul to hit him multiple times, and when he jumps, you can use abyss shriek for upwards damage. This should make the boss really easy. Hopefully this helps!

I like to compare sharp shadow to steady body, if you use it and get attached to it, you’ll never want to unequip it, but if you don’t ever get attached, then you’ll never see the point. I use steady body for all my radiant bosses and think it’s an A-Tier charm, but others might not like the no nail knockback and rank it low

@@HalberCon All my charms are like that. Im not used to using anything other than quick slash, Mark of Pride, LongNail, steady body, and Sharp shadow. All of the charms let you play aggressive while also being incredibly safe, and taking any of them off makes me struggle a lot.

@@HalberCon We have very different opinions. You don’t like Sharp shadow because it changes your dash, and I don’t like Unbreakable Strength because it would doesn’t fit well into any of my builds. You could ask “Why don’t you like Unbreakable strength?” And then I would have to explain why I feel that it’s not worth the cost. I respect your opinion and would like to know what your favorite charm build is. I hope you have a good weekend.

I can play both with or without. (yeah, I do indeed exist) Tye last time I've used the charm was against radiant Pure Vessel, I think, but the fight is painful both with and without the charm. Without, it's basically only possible to shadow dash through the straight lunge attack consistently. With, shadow dashing through an attack that moves in your direction and then staggering the boss due to the damage of the charm can get you killed because your prediction of PV's movement will be wrong since they stopped moving halfway through the attack because they got staggered.
