You should probably get a emerald crab that will eat the algae or the algae might spread

That is a nicely supported nano tank. Smartly done.

Patience required with a bare bottom tank, good to see you added a substrate this time. Try to stick with products made for aquarium use only; stay away from the hardware store (i.e. tub & tile silicone).

How long do you run your lights on your reactor, can you run it 24/7
@gersonsalcedo32272 жыл бұрын
Great video. Have you tried adding the sensors on the original ATO reservoir? (instead of the sump itself) that way we don't waste that water volume and avoid too much current and salt creep? Thanks, love tour videos!

Hey I know this is an older video but how big is this tank? Also you’re on a second floor atleast…how did you safely keep a fairly large tank on the second floor and how did your landlord agree to it? No hate at all because I’m moving into my first apartment soon(2nd story) and I’m getting the vibe they won’t let me have a tank, I really want a 120-180 to keep me company. My building was built in 2017 Also absolutely gorgeous tank by the way. I can tell you know how to take care of it

Great information, thank you for sharing. I've had a CBB in the past and it ate everything on day one. I recently purchased a CBB and I will try the clams as you have shown in your video. It does pick at frozen mysis but it is not that interested in eating yet.

Do you still run this setup? I just purchased the dimmable version. I’ll be running it with the Kessil AP9X.
@ReefingwithO3 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the setup anymore but I’ve seen that in person and it was a really nice. My apartment is hot and the T5s got too warm. Had to do back to LEDs only
@MICHAELPAFFENROTH3 жыл бұрын
@@ReefingwithO our home is fairly large. The area my tank is in is a large open concept area, dining, kitchen, living room. I’ve had a metal halide/T5 hybrid fixture and loved it. In fact, I still have the fixture in the attic. Just don’t want to deal with that heat issue. The AP9X is nice. Been running it since January. But I think the intense shimmer is too much for me. I’m excited to get back to the look of T5’s. Thanks for the reply!

@@MICHAELPAFFENROTH I grew up in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and the Kessil shimmer is the closest thing to going to the beach then. As I’ve gotten older the shimmer has affected me more and more, especially when I’m running them mostly blue.

Hi O! I saw you on Reefgrrls stream and wanted share where you can pick up an Aquavitro Division one skimmer. I've had the 125 for several months now and IMO it's by far the most inexpensive, well built, small foot print skimmer money can buy! I honestly believe Aquavitro's changed the skimmer game forever with these beast! Aquacave in Gurnee Illinois not only carries them, they'll ship you one anywhere in the continental United States for free! I believe mine cost just under $250 Happy Reefing! 1GJ

I just got a copperband. How long dors it take for them to start eating? He looks healthy swins around but just wont eat the food. 🙁 i know they are shy when you first add them to the tank but its been 3 days now still not eating
