Im a 52 year old white male and this show should be required to watch in EVERY SCHOOL IN THE WORLD TO SHOW THAT THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE IN THE WORLD THAT TRULY CARE ABOUT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US NO MATTER THEIR RACE THEIR RELIGION THEIR BELIEFS .....none of it. I salute you Craig T. Nelson And Hail you as a Hero and a Mentor for playing this character of a real life person Jack Maple that wanted nothing but good things in the world for everyone while he was alive on Earth. You have been an inspiration to all even since the Original Poltergeist movie and Coach . And To be honest I compare you to my own father Avery Tiffany who I'm blessed to still have on this Earth at 82yrs old and his strength and Love for his family. I just want to say thankyou for that Craig. You are a true SAINT in real life and in your film work. If ever in the Wilson NC area of the world it would be an honor to meet you.

Loved her kindness her heart and her love for everyone and unending belief in Jack and telling him prior to her journey to heaven....Take a deep breath . The both of them Ella and Jack and the entire cast of this show and the entire Police department it represented deserve nothing but good things in life forever and ever for all the lives they changed and helped. They did what they did and did their jobs DESPITE BEING SURROUNDED Every minute of the day by ALL THE CORRUPT POLITICIANS in the world DRIVEN BY all Their GREED SELFISHNESS POLITICAL FRAUD LIES COVERUPS OF THE POWER THEY ABUSE EVERY DAMN SECOND OF EVERY DAY........ THIS WORLD right now in 2024 NEEDS MORE JACK MAPLE , ELLA and Anyone that worked with them to help fight ALL THE EVILS FLOWING THROUGH THIS WORLD.

Great show. We need more Jack Maples to help fight the Many ever increasing Evils of the world today. And Temples that maintain the good words of the Book and Danny boys to fight fire with fire on the crime along with Ellas to help keep our inner peace during the chaos along with all the great character potrayals in the series. 100 star rating from me. Has helped me in life today.

I've watched 22 episodes over the weekend & I am wondering why such an excellent programme never made it to broadcast in Ireland ? I do remember the times of the late 90's & we had Mr 0 tolerance Timoney as a consultant for our own Gardaí but I do not think he got to Com-Stat ?

& of course the accents are a hames where Mc Gregor sounds Scottish & Mannion sounds Mid West & not the Rockaway I know !! I must admit that the episode dealing with our peace process of the times was actually very realistic & believable even if slightly fictional !!

The ex-IRA man isn't from Northern Ireland. His accent is from Cork, in the south. McGregor's accent is hardly Irish at all. It's more like Scottish, probably Edinburgh.
