Top 3 easy memory aids for ratio of mph to m: "First 3 under, last 3 over" (for relationship of mph to m distance, remembering that its a smooth arrow in which 20mph is quite a bit under in m, 12m, and the chart ends with quite a bit over, 70mph as 96m total stopping distance, the middle two...30 and 40mph, being very close. "Every think is just less than a third" (every m of thinking distance is a little less than a third of mph) "Brake to think is 1, 2, 3" (ratio starts exactly 1 to 1 braking to thinking, 6m to 6m, skip one of the mph categories and it is 2 to 1, 24 to 12m, skip another and it is 3 to 1, 56 to 18)

Also, the thinking for each speed is always a little under a third of the speed, 3 sixes are 18 for 20mph, 3 nines are 27 for 30mph, etc

I had a cold here, so my voice is even lower than usual.

It's just struck me that almost every character could have the imperative to let go of a character they feel responsible for. Father on the daughter and sidekick is obvious but in fact they're both in danger. The psychiatrist can let Miller go as a patient, as could Miller's superior as his charge in the department. Daughter and wife have to let Miller "go" in order to grieve naturally. Finally, the antagonist can not let go of his past but this is entirely more complicated due to the sci-fi premise.
