How to turn Sparky’s Magic Piano into a psychological method of torture. The only song I’ve ever played where my housemates were screaming “Switch that off it’s breaking my head” Altho this was a Sunday morning after a particularly messy night 😂

Its 1998 and I'm driving with friends to Gotham City party at TWILO NYC. This is playing right before we get there in the car. Till this day...best sound system I ever heard and it was the last real RAVE of my sorta generation.

This song represents everything i HATE about the Orb. It starts with 6 minutes of ambient music, then when you are in the vibe, it kills the vibe by starting a house beat, then after 5 minutes it becomes ambient again for 2 minutes and then a beat comes back for another 6 or 7 minutes and then its ambioent again and then again house. It has too much beats and changes to chill to, and it has too much ambient paasages to dance to. Its completely useless and generic as f u ck and that can be said about everything these suckers have ever released. I swear if i ever have the opportunity to see Patterson or Fehlmann live i will throw a glass bottle into their faces and smash their front teeth out. FCK THE ORB!

What a track. Huge shout from America. Britain really does produce some talent. I'm also loving other various UK electronica based acts like Faithless, Burial, Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Unkle, Autectre, Massive Attack, Orbital, Leftfield, Stereo Mcs, The Streets, Goldie, The Bug, Allflaws

If you want to know why this track is 39.57 long, its because UK singles had to be under 40 minutes to enter the UK singles charts, so they thought they would release the longest track they could. It got to number 8 in the charts.

Not exactly. the BPI consider a "single" to be an "album" if its 40 minutes or longer. (British Phonographic Industry)
