Okay it is a Patsy Cline's signature song, but here comes Linda's own version which to me is the best of the best of all versions!!!

The original is "Balla, Linda" (Dance, Linda) by Lucio Battisti (Lyrics by Mogol), who wrote a lot of wonderful songs, but not so well translated into English.

This has always been a favorite of mine... NEVER understood why It wasn't more popular. I listen to this so often... and other of her " less popular" / "Side B" songs. Maybe it's me, but I enjoy the soothing harmony of Dianas' voice. Where Did We Go Wrong

Great version, but Patsy Cline is still the gold standard for this song and frankly all her songs. Love Linda and there are songs that she will always be the gold standard for.

Great vieo! This looks so much like the show i saw on that tour (which was Husker Du & X) at the University of Chicago. Excene was 7 months pregnant but wasn't slowed a bit. It was wild - tho sadly, Billy Zoom had left by that point.

It’s so strange to think that she and Patty Duke, famous for their perky youthfulness, had terrible damaged lives in secret. Anyone who complains about how everything today is so messed up while everything in the past was wholesome and clean needs to have these women’s stories thrown at them.
