Give it time and this will be the main way to shop. My grandfather would say "why would I want to shop online? I want to go to the store and look at it." Meanwhile my friends and I prefer shopping online for various reasons. Itll be a little while, but in 10-ish years VR and AR headsets will undoubtedly become common. Hell, I've seen kids under 10 with iPhones.

First of all, I think INVRSION is providing a great service with a group of the smartest members to the society. However, here is a little more I think of this: 1. How much does it cost for a grocery store to have a VR store? 2. How much does it take for customers to buy a good VR headset in order to have this great shopping experience？3. Do our customers really need a VR headset to buy toilet tissues which they can get at any shop nearby their front door? 4. Do our customers really need a VR headset to view a bottle of pasta sauce in details? These questions just came out of my mind and lead me to think about a fundamental question-- What kind of items or products needs to show the most details to increase the likelihood of their customers to purchase? Luxury items it is! Think about that there is a great amount of people whos want to buy LV handbags at a store overseas. At present they can only see the pictures and the written information of the handbags, buy now we say that they can see much more in details and highlights of the item they want by wearing a VR headset. By using the headset and supported by your service, they can easily have a "real one“ in there hands-- they can look around it, open it to see the inside, wear it on, and even touch the surface to feel it if the gloves have the technology to do so. After checking all the information they want from the handbag, they can decide whether to buy it or not, but I can image that this experience can definitely increase the possibility for them to make an order. On the other side, the owner would be so happy because they can easily cover the cost of building a VR store by selling their handbags out. And the service provider, inVRsion would also be so happy because you can charge a percentage of the sales price as services fee. Nonetheless, there are more things we can do based on the technology of VR-- we can build a store, a shopping center, (a world?) if we have the money to develop a software for it. Anyways, I am so glad to see we have inVRsion doing a great work and giving me a good hint to think about how to do a business. I really see the future of VR that is just right there!!!

This was 2016? I wonder what progress they've made along the way. However, for the use case shown in the video, I think shopping for groceries via an app or website is just as convenient. Perhaps even more convenient, since not everyone has a VR set.
