I lived in a town of 4500 people in canada 🇨🇦 where im from atikokan ontario it had a arena and 4 big outdoor rinks with a heated shack and my dad alway made a rink in our yard for me and my brother

Bubbles has the spirit of an elderly male Newfoundlander. He's so incredibly serious and opinionated and sensible. His delivery and cadence always makes me smile. The heavy breathing and mannerisms cover his brain coming up with his next ad-libbed line. He's writing his character completely on the fly. Much like when Martin Short does Jimminy Glick interviewing celebrities. I daresay he's a tad underrated. "If I could pay the REGISTRATION... I do believe I could've gone to the show!" "He was... he was not too bad! Before he became a male prostitute.... he was not a bad hockey player!"

Hey Tim! I seen some of your comments to others to find out that you are the creator of this amazing montage. Did you choose to stop editing for HNIC? Or was the decision on their behalf? I'm curious because this is a montage I look back at every year before playoffs and I always think, gee, they never make them like this anymore. This is an absolute piece of art. This amazing song mixed with some of the most amazing moments of hockey history is the stuff that makes NHL hockey so awesome and fun to watch, and I hope to see them share more of this type of stuff one day. Oh man, that walk from College Station to Maple Leaf Gardens I can still smell the peanuts and other things out in front of the Gardens off the carts that used to be there great memories of my Dad and me going to a Leafs game on a Saturday with tickets we got from a friend of his from work they may only have been greens but to me it the best seat in the house. Walking around the Gardens during the intermissions and looking at the old pictures Maple Leaf Gardens holds so many memories for me from my childhood

57 years since we lifted the Holy Grail of hockey please Leafs win it just once in my lifetime the last time you guys won was three weeks before I was born in late May of 67 Wendel's hat trick in LA in the 93 semis was his best game ever as a Leaf. I remember that overtime goal by Lanny over the Islanders. The overtime goal in game 7 of the 93 Norris division semis I can remember screaming " LEAFS WIN LEAFS WIN " Sittler's 10-point night in Feb of 76 remember that game on a Saturday night on HNIC I was 8 turning 9 earlier that day I scored my first Hat Trick Dave Keon my all-time favorite Maple Leaf

I love how he says he beat Trevor unmercifully, since Trevor was the character cut out of the show for wanting too much money.

I'm not even a big hockey fan, I think the hips coolest HNIC montage was "700 foot" ceiling. Neil Young's "Hey Hey My My" was also a good one. Fully Completely is a great tune and I guess it works for hockey. 700 Foot just seemed pefect.
