:) I can do a lot better. The thing is I have done SO many videos of these chessboards against other boards, sometimes I don't know what I have covered and not covered already. That's one thing I have to improve. Hopefully I can get the Mephisto Phoenix soon and do a comparison with that :)

Haha yes, you've done well. I've enjoyed watching plenty of the match ups! You could create folders/playlists for each computer if you like. Maybe you could even create a personal multiplication chart of sorts to keep track of who's played who lol.

They really are not that expensive. The first one I got for $79. The second one was $120 on eBay. The third one has an app and $20 on Amazon when I got it.

The Go hands down. I like the Chessnut Air+ a lot. It is gorgeous but Go being magnetic is a big deal to me. I am already clumsy anyway. In the future, you are going to see more videos with Go and fewer with Air+ because it is just more compact and does the job. It has pretty much all the same features as the Air and Air+. Those boards are portable but this is just the next level. The other board I like the Chess Genius 2024. That was is not as strong but does have a standalone computer. @@Pianoman1488 it really is tragic that there haven't been many firmware updates. It's still a fun board. The hardware is there. The software leaves a lot to be desired.

I have done that too. They don't explode. Plus, I don't leave them with it all the time. I have not heard anyone having any issue with this.

I have not gone near Pegasus after it had connectivity issues. I never had any issues with Centaur but Pegasus had issues. Did they ever fix that? When I reviewed this, it said July was the delivery date. Demand is apparently very high. I do like how compact this is. I did a lot of videos with Chessnut Air but this makes my life a lot easier, especially because it is magnetic and the pieces stay put.

@@Gadgetify Thank you for your reply. Yes, it works without connection issues, but sometimes, especially if you drag the piece instead of lifting, waiting a fraction of a second for the LEDs to light up, then dropping it, it gets confused... I'd say something like 10m + 5s time control works best. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to upgrade the firmware, but the app is much better now. Still has quirks, like you can't see if the board is charging unless it is turned on, and the battery life after 3 years is terrible, it even completely discharges in a couple of days with the board turned off. Chessnut Go seems like a great board, full of features, my only concern is the size, I'm afraid my fat fingers will mess up all the pieces if I'm in a hurry ;)

@@daniel_ionescu I just decided to give up on it early. I don't regret it. DGT Centaur is a great board. Pegasus I have lived without all these years. Chessnut boards are just much better considering that I can use them with Arena, ChessBase and all the software I use. I personally don't play online. I simply needed a board to test my old boards against newer engines. Chessnut boards have helped me a lot with that :)

I played a bunch against it and got crushed. It also easily dealt with my Danish Gambit. e4 e5 d4 exd4 c3 qe7. I could not deal with that line

@@jonathanbrewer7072 it's extremely expensive but if people want to see it, I'll buy it. I do wonder if there is interest. I have checked a couple of other videos on it and they got like 1000 views. That's like $1 a view as far as the cost for this.

The tiny orange guy died yesterday. I tried hard to keep him alive. I don't know what it was. Poisoning or something else. I tried everything for 4/5 days but we lost him yesterday. Very sad.

Perpetual is the branding term and not "scientific" term. Perpetual motion breaks 1st or 2nd law of thermodynamics.

"perpetual" is a branding term and not a scientific term. haha :) I don't know what to call them. They are sold as "perpetual motion" terms. It's like you buy a product that is called water and of course it is not water but that's just the brand name used for it :)

I don't think you need to point that out. It isn't meant to be literal. It's clearly meant to be the illusion of perpetual motion.

so you are saying that if player made a capture, and you captured back without registering their capture first? Am I understanding this correct? Like they capture a bishop and you want to capture back their piece, so you just put your piece and forego their capture? Maybe I am understanding this wrong.

@@Gadgetify Yeah I think that is right. Let’s say they capture your bishop with their bishop and you, on the board, simply remove both bishops and put your pawn there that is re-capturing for example. I would really appreciate if you tried that and let me know if the computer registers it properly

@@lokkedpiano5261 I have actually tried. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn't and tells you to complete the capture first. I play bullet and fast games and sometimes I do that. In general, you have to complete captures move by move.

Hello I have a question where could I look for help in my computer some fields have stopped lighting up but the computer sees them as if only the lap top has burned out does anyone have a lead on some service?

mine came with one. I don't know if every kit has it.

I used to buy these gadgets for myself. Now I buy them for these cats. haha

they moved unfortunately when I moved this thing to different spots for the video.
