He's simply a drumming prodigy and always has been! The Father of Fusion hasn't missed a beat (so to speak) even at 78 - He's now 80 as of May 16 which happens to be my birthday as well so at least I have that in common with him!! He's always been at the top of my list of influences and inspirations on the drums coming up as a teenager in the early 70's! He set the bar so high!! Was feared by other great drummers! So good to see him still going after all these years and great achievements!

Hey Arpi Alto, that jazz arrangement was quite a challenge, isn’t it ? Personally I prefer much more you as a soloist. But that’s just my humble opinion. Warm regards from Africa.

ピアノとArpiのどっちが主役。あるピノ場を創る必要がある。ピアノが出しゃばりすぎ。

É uma tristeza que no Brasil ninguém a conheça e ela nunca tenha cantado aqui. Sou fã incondicional desde 2008.
Billy is by no means one of the grand masters of the drums. Yeah. We know the mahavishnu orchestra. And he will be idol to many drummers around the world for decades. So. Respect.
Billy Cobham is definitely an ascended master and always has the best players in his band(s)

In the song Moonriver the sound engineer was very distracted and the sound of the piano was so loud that it covered Arpi Alto's most intimate voice. I found it unacceptable that he didn't correct this throughout the song.

Terrible accompagnement

The singer is the most important part of the show, not the pianist. They had to integrate other instruments, for example, bass, etc. It sounds like a cheap show, they minimize Arpi's spectacular performance.

Till 29 minutes I could listen, boring and mourning mood, but frankly speaking, am disappointed from her , though am a real fan when she sings on KZfaq 😢

Most of her You Tube covers are pre-recorded, so a lot of pitch correction, and you can clearly see her lip-syncing!

Oh this is fcking one tight sound.just excellent and thanks for sharing..Seen Cobham twice..way back in the day lol.Mahavishnu 73 Newcastle City Hall UK and Newcastle Poly 75ish.He's in that handful of drummers Tony Williams, Ginger Baker,Frank Katz(Brand X-after Collins),Lenny White,Carl Palmer too name but a few, that changed the concept of modern drumming as an add.🪘👍
