I'm stuck in the part where you use the 25% of the length minute 6.20 . Where or how do you set the length value?
@BBaoTech
@BBaoTech 11 күн бұрын
I set extruded length as variable at 1:53. I also set the width and depth at 1:13 and 1:23.

Do you think the design works still if you have offset halves of a box so the hinge acts more like a lid section instead of being at the middle of box?

thanks for the video i have some holbrook glasses but 3d printing them will be cool ill try resin too. However, is there a way you can post the parts separately

Well can the be printed separately and then snap together?

@@DrRandomest, I separated them and put them on thingiverse. It might be difficult snap it in but give it a shot. Even with the resin print, you might be able to print everything at once.

Not these hobbyist 3d printer. There are some clear filament you could print really thin but you'll probably have a hard time seeing.

Hope you make more videos in the future on CAD designs for 3D printing because this video is really good. I'm a beginner myself but you made it clear to follow. Also where did you learn how to use Solidworks so well? Watching you efficiently work is like art

PSA: do not use this type of plastic to handle anything you will be ingesting. the microscopic gaps between the printed layers are a breeding ground for bacteria. You will get sick if it is not finished and sealed with a food safe resin coating.
