whats the name for the REAL exhaust brake system? You listed in the description the cummins patented integral engine exhaust brake system does the other exhaust brake system have a name to it?

It’s just an exhaust brake. Usually exhaust brake is literally just a flap. The Cummins turbo exhaust brake is patented. However the computer mechanism Thomas use is also patented by them and that’s why those buses are typically the strongest. Bluebird uses a similar mechanism in the way it does it that leaves international with the regular exhaust brake flap. You could change it yourself but international neither its dealers will do it bcs of the rules of the law. There’s a flap but certain turbines in the turbo and flaps over certain engine part activates and changes direction along with the computer automatically selecting 2nd gear while it’s on.

Dip your wrist in like this 🤌, it allows your fingers to cover more area and opens up your pinky for fingering as well. Its not the most comfortable thing in the world, and your forearm will get tired, but that's how you properly attack the fretboard. Tune your guitar with a tuner, and look up tabs for the song. Good luck on your journey! 🤘

It sounds like you're playing it lower than it should be, probably becuase of the tuning. Instead of hammering on, the guitarist bends up with her ring finger. Just by looking its two full-step hammer-ons, another two full-step hammer-ons, and then a half step bend.

@carolinabusboy Tremolo? Your picking is fine and changing pickups won't give you the exact tone you're looking for, Take exactly what I told you previously and that should be good.

Been driving CMV’s since I was in my early teen and now I’m a truck driver and haven’t been in not one accident. I don’t need you to tell me how to do my job! Be quiet, sit back and stop telling me what I should and shouldn’t be doing and stick to playing that video games coke you drive a real bus then you may be eligible for input.

Nice review. Yeah it don't look that bad to me I mean it's a school bus but idk I'd say I don't like how the gear shift is small to where it's unnoticeable. That's my only flaw then it really takes getting used to.

Nice looking bus. I like the redesigned dash and gauge cluster. But one thing that always blows my mind. Why does NC just do all yellow buses? No white roofs, no black rails or black window frames. Make it look classy like SC and FL has. All yellow looks like it’s from the 60s and 70s.

Air conditioners! When I rode the bus in the 70s, our "air conditioning" was courtesy of the opened windows! I still remember the sound of the Allison automatic transmission.

Yes. As great as ALLISON bus transmissions are and as always have been, the newer versions no longer have that jet engine sound. Combine that with the old DETROIT DIESEL 2 cycle going full throttle and wow.😁

@@crabbymilton390 Fort Worth ISD didn't use diesel power until the mid 80s, I think. When I rode the bused, they were gas IH Loadstars with that automatic. I think some of the Fords used that automatic also.

@@MisterMikeTexas All of the bus chassis builders used various models of the ALLISON automatic. That’s correct that diesel engines in school buses didn’t become common until the about the late 1970’s.

No more easy access to the air/electric door compartment unfortunately. It looks nice inside and outside. I still prefer the previous generation design.
