Is it a contradiction to drink alcohol and then speak about conscious lyrics about being health and mind sharp? I'm not judging M1, he can do whatever he wants, just an objective observation.

Another ODB story is when he walked in the wrong studio on Pras while he was recording Ghetto Superstar. That's literally he got on the song, by being wasted going to the wrong studio.

Pras literally says ODB just randomly walked in the studio. I’m pretty sure Pras would know the real story.

Man none of these dudes remained true to their music because they all lost that message.I get it when you get older and wiser and have kids you lose that edge. These guys might of got approached by the FBI or something and dont want to lose that check that the masses were supplying. When you get deep into the industry you like the attention and the admiration. It becomes like a drug that gives you fuel. They don't want to lose that Especially Nore. I remember him doing a segment with Diddy. Although Puff was acting on some gay stuff Nore never blasted him. He could of in a dignified way or at least show disdain. Instead he just uncomfortably laughed it off.Fabulous had his head down eating cake. All they had to say direct to puff as a man is Im not on that brah. You know what Im talking about. To me they career could of elevated if done in the right format.not in a defensive manner. People don't understand the plight of peoples ways go both ways. You just gotta open that lens and know how to articulate. Meaning get that point across constructively. Anyway I miss those old Red Black and Green daze where the music and the message was natural and free. They need to go back to it by raising up a new crop or something. At the end of the day its always been about the message within Hiphop. The message of native toungue.Pro Griff said this that this generation lacks a song that tells a real story about this generation. In the 80s and 90s we had that!
