Terrible customer service!

She is beautiful on you. I’ve been leery about this one worrying about density, but she doesn’t look too thick on you. Maybe my aversion to medium density is easing up some now that I’m getting a little more used to wearing wigs.

I have Sheer Mystic and LOVE it. Also - Paula Young has a huge reputation for their phone / customer service agents being rude and difficult to deal with.

Have you seen the really super cute new wig from PY called "Flower"? I'd love to see that one on you for a review. 🙂

Happy to report my full reimbursement refund is processing from Paula Young! Got a phone call from them and it was a very nice call! Their ambassador Beth was a huge help too!

Never ordered from Paula Young but I have heard you can see the wefts on some funnily enough the lower prices put me off also because of quality control and customer service 🩷

I also find Paula Young to be rude and not professional. They also take a very long time to refund your return. I do not order from them anymore.

Probably nobody is running the ship over there at Paula Young. I've bought a few wigs from there. They mostly look like they come from the 1970s. They never look like the photos. And you can see the wefts on some of them.

Hi Lisa, I love Paula Young wigs! I’ve been purchasing from them since 2021 and I own 36 of their wigs. Luckily I’ve never had to return one or had a mixup with the boxing- sorry this happened to you. I can usually make any wig work for me and theirs are economical with nice fibers. I have many reviews on their website under my name, Roberta, if you or your viewers want to check them out. However I won’t order a wig without checking out Beth’s Best Hair reviews first. I’ve followed her for years before she became their Ambassador. I just want your viewers to know that not everyone has a bad experience- love their wigs & even my bio pic is in one of their wigs. I haven't bought anything from them, but this is worrisome. Def won't now. I bought a wig a couple weeks ago, from a different store. Tried it on, hated it, and felt it was a total misrepresentation of the website images. I messaged them, told the chat person my issues, and that's the same script she gave me. "Sorry you were disappointed and apologize for the inconvenience. You may return it if it isn't damaged or altered. Is there anything else you need help with?" I just closed the chat, packed it up and took it to the ups store. Such a disappointment. Makes me nervous to buy another one due to the price and my income. It was 50% off then, but $449.00 now. 😿😿

I'm on your side, but I kind of understand the customer service girl's side, too - probably some minimum wage girl stuck in that rotten job, not permitted to deviate from the script they tape up right by the phone. Been there, done that - and it sours your people skills in a HURRY being all day on the receiving end of unhappy customers whose unhappiness was caused by things you didn't do and don't have any control over. Customer complaint line workers are like human shields that have to take the slings and arrows for OTHER people at the company. I'll never have a job like that again!

Early on I ordered from PY, but their policies and poor customer service made me stop ordering. A refund eventually reached me, but it seemed to take forever. Every once in a while, I go back to the website, but the lack of brunette dimensional color stops me cold once again. Getting tired of 8, 10 and 8/12. Kathy

With that kind of customer service I would never order from them again. Totally unacceptable to me!

Sorry you had an unfortunate experience with the person on the other end of the phone. I have ordered wigs from Paula Young, but haven't needed to return a wig yet and hope I don't have to. As far as the cluster knots on the part, I'm wondering if plucking the part and using powder and scar tape might help reduce that look? I haven't tried any of PY's hand tied wigs yet, but would definitely try plucking the part. Cute wig though.

Paula Young usually takes almost a month to reimburse returns. It seems that they make it hard so you won’t want to have to make another return in your life. This was part of the reason I stopped buying from them. Just one return was enough for me. I love The Wig Company though. Better quality, awesome price, no frills returns (I’m not affiliated to them; I’m just a happy customer). Thanks for your review. It looks beautiful on you.

How does color 8/30 cocoa twist compare? Can’t seem to find videos on this color for the HH Carrie lite. Love the toffee truffle but seems for me too stripy on top with the highlights. Looking for a warm medium brown base with blended highlights (not reds) but not so light or stripy up top or in front . Which color do you think in the Carrie lite hh would be best?

Once mine frizz I just can't seem to get them revived even with the heat . They seem to just ho thick and clumpy. X

I wish they’d make all wigs with full mono tops. I don’t part my hair on the left and the limitations of the mono left part make selecting a wig very minimal.
