Been an AC fan since the first... and unfortunately the levels of low that ubisoft has gone for this title is truly just sad. I could care less about the "oh a black samurai" controversy because sure Yasuke was a real historical figure but not a main protagonist worthy choice. Would have worked better as another notable NPC to see the life he lived under Oda. Ubisoft has already doubled down on the failed history of Yasuke that was proven to be fabricated by Thomas Lockley. They are writing it off as "well it's a fictional game anyway so it doesn't matter" and while that may have some truth to it at least there was a level of integrity to the the historical sources in previous titles. Moving past Yasuke, they have already gotten Japanese infrastructure incorrect in many of their released gameplay and their other Japanese historian is only known off better for making boy-love novels between preists and young boys ick. Can't imagine how a company would want to back or let alone hire persons like that. I can't move opinions of others that want or don't want to play this game but the levels pander and bullshit are definitely there.
