Found this. Love this. If there ever is a doc. on Bruno's story, this interview should be a part of the research material from which to glean.

My Aunt Donna (a product of the late 60s and a HUGE Bruno fan - Saw him live in Cleveland). RIP Aunt Donna. She liked Seger and Sabbath too.

Love this song by The Spiral Staircase from the 60's. This is the only cover I've heard so far that sounds as fabulous as the original. Would like to hear Bruno and his band do the song in its entirety some day, sounded incredible.

Bruno Mars is playing a syncopated tumbao rhythm on bongos while singing this classic song by Spiral Starecase! I don't think listeners know how difficult it is to do that.

Sorry, as good as he is, this can’t come close to the original composition in cool arrangement, driving beat and style…I would like his band to do a more complete cover of this classic…in the original, it is a not a lounge jazz feel…it is a powerful rhythm shuffle with strong bass line and horns, more like “Heatwave” by Martha and the Vandellas (Motown)…

I miss hearing Bruno Mars. He was around for me during high school, during college, during my first line of work...and came back for his album with Silk Sonic! This is the best version I have heard. It overwhelms me every time I hear this song though.
