nice drone work what kind of fruit trees is the train going by at the beginning of the video? Also do you know how wide UP’s right of way is? Often times when you see the DPUs in the middle of the train like this it kind of suggests that all they did is add one train onto the back of the first one and have 2 people pull it all instead of 4 people!

i remember seeing a great long train like that stop across the road from a Dairy Queen in a small town in western New Mexico. a crew member hopped down and crossed the highway and got lunch (to go) and he then climbed back into the train and it left.

IF YOU PUT THESE IN IT, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT GETTING THE TRAIN OVER THE LONG,HEAVY GRADES ! THESE LOCOMOTIVES FROM GE MAY SOUND GOOD, BUT THEY ARE NOT GEARED FOR Slow DRAG FREIGHTS! THE HIGHER THE GEAR RATIO, THE LESS TRACTIVE EFFORT YOU WILL HAVE, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GEARED FOR Slow, HEAVY FREIGHTS! AS A RESULT, THE TRACTION MOTORS WILL BURN UP BECAUSE, THEY ARE TURNING TOO SLOWLY TO ABSORB ALL THE ELECTRICAL Power GENERATED BY THE ENGINE /GENERATOR SET; WHICH IN MANY CASES, WILL CAUSE THE LOCOMOTIVE TO CATCH FIRE AND BURN UP! This is why they need to put stick shifts in the locomotives,then the clutches wouldn’t burn up,get rid of the automatic transmissions and you know the tractive effort would increase on slow drags on long heavy trains

Where were you shooting exactly? Beaumont Hill doesn't show on Google maps and was curious the location with all the windmills, etc. Nice video!
