junevelaz the bulb is easy to change just find the location of the turn signal and twist and pull out. I went with VLEDs tritons which is basically plug and play with a resistor

junevelaz this is true. This has been a widespread issue with Honda. There have been a ton of 9.5 gens with this issue and it stems from a manufacturing defect. If you’re not under warranty I would try and argue with the dealership that this has been a widespread issue and it should be fixed on there end. I have some photo to support this if you email me at [email protected] I will send you the pictures

yamin huang yes they should be around that close. Mine might be slightly closer than the general rule of thumb which is the steps should be the same length apart as the projector are on you car. So if the headlight projectors on your car are 4.5 feet apart the steps should be that distance apart at 25 feet.

yamin huang CBI’s and usually there is a break in but these might have been broken in at the time. They had minimal hours on them but probably just about enough to be considered broken in.

Angel Contreras it's time consuming but it can also be difficult if you do not have a retrofitting background. The 4TL-R projector would be a lot easier of a retrofit

grant gill grant gill in the RX350 it was Osram Nightbreaker bulbs and a 35 watt Matsushita ballast. The Mini H1 was using a 5500K bulb and a 55 watt XB ballast. Check my KZfaq page I recently did another retrofit and drive which IMO is better than this. Are you in HIDPLANET?

Manuel Argueta I used a Switchback driver. The Morimoto Xchange driver. Any Switchback module will work. Diode Dynamics sells one too.

grant gill I never finished the retrofit since the car died. Here's the build thread I had on it though. The EXled bar was the power 5K. They are white no yellow to them. There are more pictures in the thread of them up close. Also, they are definitely bright enough for a DRL. At the moment they are the brightest strip I've seen. Although the diode dynamics HD strips might be better and brighter. pklemm1 thanks man for the link ya I'm on hidplanet just never noticed ur build, how'd u mount them to the shroud? Did u use 5mm led legs off, the metal legs? I was told they are good to use for mounting post, solder them on he strips? Did u just use 1 power and 1 ground wire hooked at the end or did u wire each led? Do u think the led boards could be painted black to blend in? Also ya I wish there was a diffuser that could be used to cover these universally

grant gill they are mounted to the OEM bezel using silicon. I'm just using one power and on ground. If you were going to sequence the turn signal you can wire each led and use a sequential module. The led board is mostly black. The LED's are yellow for the 5K and white for the Amber. A diffuser would help hide the LED's. I looked for one that works but was never successful. At a distance they are not noticeable though so it might not to an issue.

Added I think 3 spacers behind the lens to create some distance between the lens and the cutoff shield

Sweet, thanks! I planned to open my headlights this weekend to correct rotational alignment on my S2000 retro anyways, so I'll have to try this. What thickness spacer did you use? Cereal box?

+Alan Kaid I actually think I used just regular paper at the time. I was just doing this at the time because I did not have a cereal box. I wouldn't recommend using plain white paper as a spacer for extended use. Cereal box would be the best. I'm guessing with cereal box spacers you might only need two. Also I'm not sure if this was mentioned but I did swap the lens on the s2000 projector. I am using a prisma line E30 lens. Here's some more photos I added. It's of the S2000 and SC430 projects. Yeah, I saw that on hidp before commenting here... not sure why I didn't comment there, now that I think of it, hahaha. I hadn't played around too much with spacing before my retro, but this definitely gives me motivation. Do you think the E30's or E30-R's perform that much better than AP1's? I know the curvature is different between them all...

+Alan Kaid I actually just updated the post to add the S2000 photos with the stock lens so you can see the difference in output. I'm not exactly sure what the E30-R is but I'm sure any e30 lens would yield great results

The best I have right now of them is what I have added to my HIDPLANT thread. Take a loot through there I have a few shots of the fog lights and I'll continue to add more once I take them. This is the projector not behind a headlight lens. Usually when installed and behind the headlight lens you lose a bit of color. Also this is with E30 lenses which have been know to be the best for the S2K

I have not installed them on anything. This was just a video of the projector. I'm hoping to find a use for them soon though.

Lens swap that's it. They are currently out of stock but it was Prisma Line E30 lenses on eBay $57 including shipping
