My friend lived in Pratt, she was in an underground basement 3/4 cinderblock walls when the tornado came through. The only thing that saved her was a wall fell on her. It sucked her shoes off of her feet and the glasses off of her face. The rest of her house was gone. Her neighbor wasn't so lucky, she was sucked out of her concrete basement and tossed 100 yards. She did not make it. Even after traveling from tuscaloosa that tornado was still f4 some say f5 in places

5:06 that’s still a deflegration not a detonation. Ammonal is a high explosives (which means it explodes faster than the speed of sound) and therefore explodes with a shockwave. Even millions of tons of blackpowder won’t do that.

I was working about 20- minutes east of Birmingham and wanted to leave when I heard it was heading to Cullman. Coworkers talked me into staying until was done. Usually takes me 1-1/2 hour drive. This day, took me over 5 hours to get home to Hulaco/Baileyton. I was then wiped out by tornado that went thru April 2014 - only person that was - between Simcoe and Fairview, Alabama. Was at my dad's at Eva, Alabama, in basement watching. Stay safe, people. Take EVERY warning seriously, because you never know if today will be your day. God bless. 🤗🤗🤗

Western Australia 😢sadly has officially made it illegal to keep meteorites found in WA ??? So much for DEMOCRACY HEY?! It’s a huge mistake for the most obvious reason. As there are probably many finds that have gone unnoticed therefore losing precious data on these treasures. It’s estimated that 1000s have been found with absolutely no data due to very significant finds. Especially in desert areas where natural erosion is much less on meteorites than more temperate climates in WA. So common sense would prevail by allowing finds to be kept 100%. With agreed data of location and meteorite type. Sounds very simple to me than allowing the Police State of Australia 🇦🇺 And it’s Government intellectual ??? DECISION MAKING PROCESS AND LAWS. It is amazing our Police State allows its people the kind and glorious decision that international and other Australian State finds can be purchased. OHHH ON MY KNEES THANK YOU KIND KINDOM OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA FOR YOUR DEMOCRATIC VALUES AND GRAND PERMISSION. 🙄🙄🙄😜😊🙏.

Some of these Pilots are experts and I don't know how they stay so calm in such dire circumstances. They land those big Airliners like a boss in an Emergency. Some of them planes look like they came from the Airplane junkyard by the time they land.

What about a big removal operation? As the locations are well known and rather shallow, big excavators under remote control might do the job. Removind the explosives through the mine tunnels is a treacherous idea. Instead remove the earth and take away the explosives ...

I'm so confused by the first one. The captain survived! Couldn't they ask him why he stupidly landed like that? I think some of these Asian countries have a cultural problem with the concept of making a mistake and doing a go around. Ironically, The subsequent mistake is a million times worse! There's at least another 2 stories like that which I can recall. One is Asiana in 2015. And how was training the problem when this is the most basic and important part of flight?

how could that not be done by all planes years ago? Maybe I'm not getting something. Working in Respiratory Care hypoxia will cause cognitive issues almost immediately. So sad. RIP to all on board and thoughts to their families.

My Aunt used to collect old phone books and old newspapers as well as shredded paper from businesses. She'd put them into a commercial food processor with water to turn it into a pulp and then add some bees wax, shaved off a big block using the food processor's grater fitting, then put the blade back in and blend it some more. Then she had a 1M long steel pipe with holes along it and would pour the pulp into it, it would take 3-4 batches of the food processor to fill the pipe, then used a vice to compress it and squeeze out most of the water. She'd leave it for a day or 2, then it was still damp so she would put it out in the sun to dry and then put it into a pile in the shed for winter.

Someone help me out... 1. I'm not sure what the blood oxygen level is at cruise in a pressurized cabin compared to outside at sea level, but how come you can hold your breath for easily a minute and be ok when diving into a pool or just for fun, but in flight only have 15 seconds after depressurization? 2. Wouldn't a depressurization emergency list be one of the ones you have to know by memory?

The problem with Airliners is that they either get faulty parts or they push their Mechanics to meet impossible deadlines just to get the plane back on the Tarmac so they can make money or sometimes they hire inexperienced Pilots with very little training or Pilots who have a record of bad habits. Those Pilots in the first episode were very Professional and kept their wits about them and managed to improvise to land the plane safely. Some of these Pilots, no matter how expert they are, just have no control over the circumstances of the Aircraft.

These 2 episodes literally involves an Airbus 320 (the 1st episode) and a Grumman Turbo Mallard (the 2nd episode), what makes your dumb little brain to believe that Boeing caused other aircraft manufacturers to do the same thing?
