If there was pure hurling on display yesterday it was from the men in yellow. Clare had much more scoring chances if they were accurate they would have pulled away.

A friend who was on the field after the match told me that he had listened to the Zombie and that at one point the thrill he got made him tremble. He had already heard a vibrant Ireland's Call in the crowded metro two hours before the match. Only the Irish (and rugby) can do that, no one else. Impressive.
