Apparently her Parkinson's was a mis diagnosis. Linda has something called progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) Also as for music, the singer she mentioned from the Chocolate Drops is Rhiannon Giddens who absolutely fantastic.

For Linda Ronstadt, losing her gift and skill to sing must be like losing a loved one. Her enduring legacy as one of the greatest vocalists ever, is now complimented by her new battle to help find a cure for parkinsons. She turned a tragedy, into a cause to relieve suffering for others. That is something I think we could all aspire to. To turn a loss for yourself into a cause to better other people, is something that I truly admire about her. I wouldn't be surprised, that Linda's fight to promote awareness and fundraise to end parkinson's will be a legacy that rivals her musical career. She's a role model for us all, that if life throws you lemons, then make lemonade. Never let a loss destroy you, turn it into a cause to fight against so others don't suffer.

Such class even in the midst of dealing with this horrific disease that is slowing taking her abilities away. She has always been a very attractive lady and even at this stage of her life she still is. She has aged so gracefully, even with Parkinson's.
