Victor Sen Yung was more famous for his portrayal of Hop Sing. The Cartrights chef in Bonanza. And Yootha Joyce was more famous for her role in "George and Mildred". Although she played the same character in "Man about the House". Of which "George and Mildred" became a spin off.

Many black actors are already included, I do remember the first actress first actors are already shown in some early 1900 videos, the lists I'm working on are currently the most famous ones globally in upcoming episodes of same years there will be many Asian, Indian and other celebrities as most of the showbiz industries at that time were not that developed the only prominent Asian celebrities that Ive came across were japanese celebrities though technically Russia is also part of Asian continent and there are many celebrities from the soviet era who worked both in their local industries and in Hollywood as well. The main area of focus so far is Hollywood ill go back till the first motion picture.

@@obituarypedia What I don't see in ANYBODY'S CHANNEL- not just yours, are Movie executives of color. Execs on the various channels and tributes I've come to conclusion are almost all white or disproportionately Jewish. It's not you,it must be Hollywood. Come to think of ,no screenwriters, none that i've seen are credited to people of color. Hollywood is far more bigoted than i ever thought.

EGADS!!! and I thought I was picky. You put together a fine video this time. Except for the Alexander Scourby comment, they were what I would term “snarky”. It’s an American slang term for nasty. They were both based on jumping to conclusions. One jumped to the conclusion that you were negligent, the other that you were racist. You are such a gentleman in the way you react to negative comments. In America, we call that a “class act”.

As your first commenter said, you’re really grinding these videos out FAST!!! Take a break so you don’t get worn out. The American audience is going to be celebrating the Fourth of July holiday, anyway. Beryl will make up her mind after that where she’ll hit us and how hard. Before I sign off though, I wanted to share a story with you. You asked for stories about “way back when”. Seeing the obituary for Una Merkel, reminded me that my aunt, before she married my uncle, went to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ginger Rogers and Rosalind Russell were classmates of hers, but Una Merkel was her best friend. She decided to marry my uncle, whom she’d been dating for seven years, instead of trying for a movie career. Una Merkel went on to become a popular character actress, often playing Ginger Rogers’ sidekick in many 1930’s movies. In the 1940’s my aunt and uncle were transferred to Los Angeles. He was a US Navy officer and pilot. Since Hollywood is part of Los Angeles, my aunt contacted her old friend. When she inquired eagerly about her “glamorous” Hollywood life, she learned about what was termed “the casting couch”. Una told her what young actresses were expected to do if they wanted to be considered for a part. Her exact words to my aunt were, “I may look good on the outside, but my inside feels terrible!” My aunt said that at that moment she was so glad that she’d chosen marriage and family over an acting career. My aunt had a very happy life and Una Merkel had a rather tragic one. When I was in high school, and my friend, Roy Brocksmith was talking about his dream to be in show business, I always thought about my aunt and her friend and knew I’d take a different path.😊❤

Don't know why but this story made me sad but I'm very sure it's not just Hollywood life it's all over the world even in this part of the world the rules of trade are the same unfortunately. "All that glitters is not gold" fits perfectly on the above given story everyone thinks that showbiz or acting career is so fun but I've read so many stories so far while searching for data most of them became self destructive and had a difficult life. That was kind of my personal observation. The story was amazing thankfully your aunt lived a happy life and preferred family life and special thanks for sharing the story it has a beautiful lesson of life. Now I have to rethink my life as well I personally wanted to become an explorer or a wanderer who was and is always in love with nature and valleys, mountains, streams, waterfalls, sunsets, sunrise, birds watching and many more 😅 I even made a channel of my short travel and camping videos within the boundaries of my country but I was a bit shy and wasn't able to present it well and no one watched the videos. 🤭The intention of this channel was empowering myself for the dream channel of travel and nature. The real dream is to enjoy life traveling, camping, reading. I've watched many many travel documentaries I fell in love with Yakutsk the coldest place on earth in Russia and Alaska is love for me. Though one day I'll achieve that ultimate freedom to travel and will somehow smartly manage to keep myself financially empowered digital nomad or wanderer. It will take time but I'll achieve it very soon. 😅 The comment is becoming too long but once again stay safe and I wish everyone would remain safe from the disaster of hurricane. ❤️😊

Up until the mid 60's the effects of smoking weren't seriously addressed, although it was known to be detrimental to one's health.......hence the increased rate of smoking deaths among those generations. Hopefully those rates will decrease now that we're educated & have restrictions on smoking.

@@obituarypedia Hardest thing to quit, but less difficult when you have a lot of support. Don't be like me & end up in ICU for a week......IVs, Bi-paps, meds, injections, O2 & worst of the worse - hospital food. I don't want to come off like an anti-smoking vigilante, as after 3 smoke free years I still miss it and find myself reminiscing whenever I pass by someone smoking on the street. I once left smoking for 5 years consecutive but then some disaster happened in life and I lost control over things.... In short a broken heart wanted to smoke and it all started again 😅 Not sure if ill be able to do my trekking and hiking again or not if my lungs are still able to hold on high altitudes or not. But one thing is clear if someone quit smoking as I did once, one needs to reshape his whole life and priorities including friends and lifestyle with some high cardio exercises after such cardio workouts I started hating the smell on cigarettes dont know how sad I was that started it again 🤭 Cheers from "I'm not so proud of the place" 😅
