Interesting stack of 45s with Cornershop, even. Wild Springsteen item!

Interesting is right? This particular lot of 1000s of 45s came out of a record store in Hemet California that went out of business. That’s why you see such a variety of genres and years. Someone already bought the Springsteen die cut record display piece.

I’m most excited about the Elvis 45 on Sun. It has such historical value and I own the original 78 rpm of that original recording on Decca. It’s a pre war blue song originally titled Milk Cow Blues recorded in 1934 by Kokomo Arnold. In 1955 Elvis covered the song but added the word “Boogie” at the end of the title hence Milk Cow Blues Boogie. Elvis did respectfully credit Kokomo Arnold in parentheses under the song title on the record. I’m going to love having both. I’m working on a deal with Ryan to let me trade with him.

Beautiful Sun single. I sold a trashed copy of that single a few years back for $300: JB licking stick - Sho is funky. Belafonte sings the blues is fantastic. I hope you own a copy of Bellafonte at Carnegie Hall. Tracy sealed is some coin! You can do the ultimate Fleetwood Mac comparison video with all of those pressings.
@TheVinylRecordMission13 күн бұрын
Yeah some really desirable pieces can out of this dig! I’m going to love having the Elvis Milk Cow Blues Boogie even more so because I have the original recording of that tune by Kokomo Arnold who wrote and recorded the song on Decca 78 in 1934. The credit on the Sun single say (Arnold). I was so thrilled about that. Part of the reason I love collecting is to capture the evolution and progression of music starting with the good old days to present. I do have a living stereo copy of Belafonte At Carnegie Hall. Love it! The sealed Tracy Chapmen is a club issue but would still cost over $100.00. The first pressings of that record sealed are going for $300.00 and up Rumors have it. 😂. Mega sound comparison is right! lol. Cheers Buddy!
